Juliette Has A Gun Eau De Parfum Spray, Not A Perfume, 50ml

Not a Perfume is one of my favorite “perfumes” I own. The scent starts out chemically so to speak, but as soon as it settles into your skin it seems as if you can’t even smell it. However, after waiting a little bit more the fragrance mixes with your skin chemicals making it smell delightfully unique. I do have to give a warning as the way that it interacts with your skin may cause a different smell for everyone. I love Not a Perfume, it's been all that I wear for years. I had been getting small bottles and using them sparingly, and decided to treat myself to a large bottle. I checked my Amazon order info and decided to let the seller know what happened, since they were probably not aware of the defective perfume. I did ask if a refund was possible. Hit send, but didn't expect much. I checked my email just before I went to bed and there was a reply from the seller. They apologized for the problem and said that I would be refunded in a couple of days. This morning I got a message from Amazon confirming the refund. I am totally impressed with this. The fast response, and they are going to check their supply of perfume to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I truly thought my money was gone, and for the seller to handle this so promptly and graciously really made up for how disappointed I was! My sincere gratitude to them for offering exceptional customer service.

I’m sorry, I absolutely love Juliette Has a Gun, but this one is just not it; I don’t understand the hype at all. Maybe it’s just me or I don’t “get it”, but I tried it on paper first and then wore it on my skin all day and never smelled a thing. I understand that’s the point/its whole appeal, but it feels more like an expensive gimmick to me. I suppose one upside is its versatility - you can definitely wear this anywhere and anytime, just no one else will know you’re wearing anything 😂 I have heard that others absolutely love this fragrance and its so-called scent (not sure if I believe them lol) so it’s possible it depends on body chemistry and my body just doesn’t jive with this one. Either way, it’s definitely NOT a safe blind buy in my opinion. It’s like $85 and comes with 5-10 samples of different fragrances as well as a certificate for a full-sized bottle of one of them, and they often include Not A Perfume, so you can try it out that way and if it ends up being your thing then you can redeem the certificate for a 3.3oz bottle ($145 value so you get it for way cheaper).

There’s literally zero point to reading reviews - this is a molecule-type fragrance that will smell different on everyone. No, but really - not in the way that all perfumes smell a little diff on everyone, this is like, VERY drastically different depending on your unique chemistry.On me, it smells like the Pacific Northwest, mixed with my favorite T-shirt, mixed with good sex, mixed with terracotta if terracotta was a scent and not a color, mixed with a touch of high end salon conditioner (but after it’s been in your hair for a day).It’s incredible on me, unbeatable, like a true signature scent. Favorite Go-To Scent!!

I was thrileld to be able to grab this on sale but I also would be more than happy to pay full-price! The first try of this had me on a search to find something similar but honestly, there's nothing that can compare. It's light and sensual, can be worn for any occasion. It makes any outfit feel more appealing if you get what I'm meaning. Anytime you wear this out you will get compliments and you'll feel like a million bucks.I will wear this scent until they stop making it honestly! Interesting but still unsure of it

This is actually my first foray into JHAG. Have the tiny size. I have mixed feelings about it.The pros are that it’s a fairly non-offensive fragrance that’s perfect for say, the office or a serious function. It also makes for great layering with other perfumes because of its chemistry.The cons are it really doesn’t last very long on me. Furthermore I find it a tad… boring. That’s definitely down to personal taste, though. I’ve never found skin scents super appealing and prefer slightly stronger scents with a good amount of sillage. But if you’re looking for a good clean, minimalist skin scent, this is a pretty solid choice! Not my type though.

Smells great and really long-lasting scent. I sprayed it on around 5 p.m., and by 7am, I could still smell it. It was a close skin scent but it was there. even after my shower i could still smell hints of it. On me, it smells like something i can't describe, but its lovely and also, cedar and salty ocean skin after a day in the sun, after the dry down. . Sooo nice. I'll definitely buy more when I run out. I haven't tried laying it yet, but I will. I checked the batch code and it states it was made in 2021 but that didnt effect the quality in my opinion. Maybe it possibly helped it because i get no alcohol smell like some reviewers stated. I think i should also say that Cetalox (ambergris) can not be smelled by everyone. This perfume works insanely well with my skin. The initial spray is incredibly musky with a woody, fresh lumber smell, like a woodland fairy got lost in Home Depot. Then it sweetens into a warm amber (very similar to Nemat Amber). My mom says the dry down smells similar to White Linen by Estee Lauder. It lasts over 24 hours on me but changes by the next day to a mild detergent-like scent. The best part of this perfume is that it has a human musk scent to it in the most pleasant way possible, like the comforting, natural smell of your significant other. My boyfriend loves this fragrance on me! We both smelled Superdose and gagged though- it smelled like dirty laundry.
