After one try, I got as many free samples of this as I could, the travel size and the big bottle. This perfume has one note and you should try it on your skin before purchasing because it smells different on everyone. I've heard it compared to Glossier You for this reason, but in my opinion the two are different enough that I own both. I love the one note mixes with my skin to give me a musky, clean, feminine scent. It sits close to the skin, but when I walked by coworkers or family they mention I smell good. I am not someone who likes to announce my arrival with a scent, I enjoy more personal and intimate scents and this one fits the bill. It is like my skin but better. I had no idea what to expect with this perfume. I had never heard of it before but when I mentioned to a friend that I got it, she told me she loved it. I use very little of this but the scent is noticeable without being strong. Subtle enough that someone has to get close to smell you, but when they do you are sure to get a compliment. I received tons of compliments on days I wore this from everyone I hugged. And days later I still smelled it lightly on my jacket. This is advertised as not being a perfume and instead being composed of a single ingredient, which apparently leads to it smelling completely different on different people based on how it mixes with their natural scent or what have you. It is not a perfume as the base note is amber and this is so different from anything I have ever used. It's subtle, smells like fresh after bath soapy scent with a little hint of sandalwood and musk, but all this after 30 mins or so of headache inducing sweet but detergent smell. I have used it around 10-15 times now in 1.5 months so obviously I don't hate it. But even after using it so many times, I still get that initial hit of headache. I love it on me after it settles, because it really has a very pleasant subtle smell. It is supposed to be a skin scent and because of its composition it is allergens free - so it is a great product. I’m not sure how old the other reviews are claiming that this is fake… I’m also not sure if it came from the same seller…like this is the seller that I bought from, but I’m not sure if these reviews are just from this perfume alone, or from this exact seller. I am reviewing this seller and the perfume! So I am here to say that I got a bottle of this off eBay for about $10 more. (Before buying here)When it came, it smelled like a lemon cleaner, and it was so disgusting! I ended up returning it and getting my money back immediately because I believe with all my heart that it was fake! Remember, the original scent is it going to smell somewhat different on each person, and that is the allure of this perfume. If you want it to smell a certain way and close to the original, I recommend getting the pear scent. It is close to the original, but a little sweeter—just like pear! I have sprayed this what feels like 1000 times, and the bottle still feels full to me! Of course, I’m sure it’s not, but it is not in danger of running out quickly. Again, I don’t know why I am having the best experience compared to other people… But I bought this a few weeks ago, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is waffling! I don’t normally give reviews, but I had to on this one when I saw that it didn’t have five stars! This is a great seller and I will order from them again as soon as I think I’m running out! This is also an amazing price for this perfume, as perfumes are extremely overpriced, and normally not worth it. This is worth every penny!

Intoxicating...once the alcohol dries down.

Tried a sample in a Sephora store a couple of weeks ago. My first thoughts as I walked through the mall afterward were that it smelled like alcohol, then like nothing. But as it dried down over the course of the next few hours, I found myself obsessively sniffing my wrist on my way home. My husband, who is usually critical of the random perfumes I come home reeking of after a foray into the perfume department of Ulta or Sephora, found it rather intoxicating and told me I should get it. The next day during his work travels he actually sought out a Sephora and bought me a Discovery Set, which included a 5ml travel size of Not A Perfume, as well as 7 1.7ml samples of their other scents, including the new Lust For Sun and Not A Perfume Superdose. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I feel like it doesn't last very long. Can't wait to try the Superdose to see if this problem is remedied. But long after *I* feel like it has worn off, my husband will give me a hug and inhale deeply and say, 'wow, you smell GOOD!'...so maybe it has more lasting power than I think it does. He then ordered me the full bottle for Mother's Day. I must say, as a warning, that I think the alcohol content is different between batches. The alcohol scent in the sample size seemed to linger a lot longer than the sample I tried in the store, and then the full bottle I received for Mother's Day today seems way better. It dissipated quickly and was left with the spellbinding scent that we can't seem to get enough of. I'm excited to wear it out somewhere to see if anyone compliments me about it.

What I imagine Heaven smelling like 24/7

The first time I smelt this was on a co-worker. The scent drew me in IMMEDIATELY. I usually do not like to "copy" other people's fragrances, because I want my own signature scent.. but I HAD to ask her what she was wearing. This fragrance was pure delight to my senses - I fell in love with this perfume the second I smelt it on her! She said a similar story happened for her - she received this perfume as a scent tested from scentsy and couldn't get enough of it. I immediately went and purchased the big bottle of this. I can't believe how amazing this smells.. and I get compliments anytime I wear it. It's apparently a very powerful scent though (I LOVE powerful perfume, not gonna lie..) so be careful to not overdose...
