I bought this for hubby who is new to smoking bbq. It’s a sturdy well designed easy to assemble unit that has everything you need for 3 styles of cooking. Easy to use and clean. Made easier with the YouTube videos on seasoning the unit and preparing coals followed by easy recipes to try made this perfect. Highly recommended.

Recently bought this product knowing that it was cheap but I'm just starting out with the smoking process. Wasn't too happy with the end result after putting it together. The buckles don't line up or clip together and you can feel that the materials are very cheap even down to the screws. It could just be my luck of the draw for getting a dodgy one.

For someone just starting out smoking or that is short on space, this is a great model to get. The metal is thinner than more expensive models so if the outdoor temperature is getting under 10 sometimes holding its heat becomes difficult but I am still quite happy with how it has performed

Suitable for seafood, hold temperature up to 150CA bit cramped for space when moving tray or grill safely once in use. A hook or holder of some sort would be an improvement.
Review: it was unreal. Held temps at 220-270f for the whole day (12+hrs) even when it rained. Brisket was perfect and had smoke rings on the meat. Was legit.Cons: small - can only fit one brisket (4kgs or so). Might be able to get a second level but if you have water bath in it smothers the coals a bit and lowers your temp so hard call. I ended up putting the water bath on the second supplied rack to give the coals that room to burn. When the water bath was smothering the coals I had temps of 180f so just a bit low.100% worth it for $70 and actually surprised at how sturdy it was for the price.
Bought this bessy in store at 11am this morning, drove home and immediately got some briquettes cranking in the chimney. It didn't take long to assemble and by 12:15 I had beef ribs on the smoker barrels grill at 100°cI'm surprised by how tight everything fits for a $69 barrel smoker.I think it's very fair to say that anyone that's given this a 1 star rating wouldn't be able to pull a lever to pour themselves a frozen beverage at service station.Oh, and the ribs came out fantastic
Works very well. Easy to assemble. Sturdy enough. Of course, the build quality and casing is not up to more expensive models - but for $69 this is a great, compact, entry-level bullet smoker! Buy a remote thermometer for best results and walk-away use.
An excellent smoker. Smoked my ham to perfection. Tried using it as a grill/bbq not so successfully however that could due be user error. Not enough fuel. Still practicing with that.
Had my doubts but the staff member at Minchinbury gave me some confidence to buy this product. Cooked a pork shoulder low and slow for 11 hrs and it held temp perfectly. Next day used it to bbq some pork ribs on the top tier perfect again. Portable and easy to clean. Keep it out of the elements and it will give you plenty of sliders.
I was given this as a gift, I didn’t expect much, and it’s certainly not perfect, but I was able to smoke a perfect rack of belly ribs straight outta the box. There’s no bottom vents so it’s tricky to tune, and it doesn’t hold enough heat beads for a long smoke, but for a quick smoke of 5 hours or less, it works fine. No problems at all.
