Kambrook Portable Single Ceramic Hotplate

Great little hotplate for the price. Pleasantly surprised that it heats up fairly quickly, almost as quickly as our old induction hotplate. Surprisingly even cooking, even on larger pan sizes such as 28/30cm. The stainless steel base makes cleaning easy.

Great little unit - heats up fast and is ideal for my uses melting beeswax. Easy to keep clean with no tricky crevices that hold gunk. Lightweight and simple to use.

The Kambrook single ceramic hot plate was purchased to use temporary as our hot plates were unusable due to damage. We have been cooking great meals and more than happy with it. Can highly recommend. It’s perfect for what we wanted.

Purchased a Kambrook Portable Ceramic Hot Plate - Single

While I like what I bought, the condition of the item at reciept was much to be desired about. Chipped on side n front. Could not be bothered returning because of all the headaches you have to endure. Quality at delivery... POOR.

Sleek, light, compact

This hotplate is very sleek, light weight and compact. Extremely portable and easy to clean. It is up to all the usual kitchen demands too.

Small, looks good, seems well made

I bought it too heat acid pickle to clean copper when enameling. It works well for this as it is compact and has a good thermostat to keep the temperature at a constant but low temperature.

Very versatile portable hotplate

Good size, easy to use and move around, heats up lots of cookware thoroughly (regardless of whether they’re bigger than the cooktop’s 18cm diameter base). Only downside is the temperature control isn’t overly flexible, takes a bit of time to lower the temperature after it’s been on high. Apart from that, would highly recommend the product overall!

does the job nicely

I bought this to heat up a hobby electroplating bath. It works very well. the ceramic plate is easy to clean and the heat control is quite stable - I use a thermometer in the bath to monitor the temperature. The only criticism is that there is no temp markings on the dial - bu that's a minor thing. It seems quite well made, no problems so far after a few weeks.
