Kaweco - Clutch Pencil - Classic Sport - Navy

Beautiful product, and I think the brand speaks for the quality.In saying that, the plastic does look a bit cheap, but this is a non issue, really.

Price was competitive, the pencil looks great, handles well, better without the clip attached. Came in a nifty little branded tin. I can now pack away both the pencil and my previously acquired Sport model fountain pen.

I bought this pencil to go with my Kaweco Sport Classic fountain pen (also in white) and together I think they make a fine pair. The two of them side by side with their matching gold clips look pretty...sporty. I really like this little pencil. I find it quite comfortable to hold as I write, and the 0.7 mm lead diameter is perfect for me. The lead extending mechanism feels sturdy; the button for the mechanism has the gold Kaweco insignia on the top of it, lending a nice decorative touch. The ONLY beef I could have is the lack of an eraser, but that's really no big deal. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you, Kaweco and JetPens!

I enjoyed this pencil until I had to replace the lead. The .7 lead that came with the pencil was great. The replacements, also .7, snap as soon as I write, rendering the pencil useless.

I absolutely love this mechanical pencil. It is fat and so is easier to write with if you have arthritic fingers like I do. The lead easily erases from my paper too. When I are writing with it, I find it helps to turn the pencil every so often so the lead stays even. I can not say enough good about JetPens company either! I ordered my pencil on a Saturday nite and got it a few days later. I ordered pens from another company in the middle of December and still no pens, no one at the company, no returned phone calls. I am basically out my money if not soon resolved. I am a writer, I don't need hassles on getting the very thing I need to write and JetPens understands that and you can tell they care for their customers a lot. Abeautiful pen. I like the weight of it. A treat to write with this pen. I rate it along side my Parker 51s and 45. A craftsmans tool without the razz matazz and hype of my Mont Blanc fountain pen.

The pencil is quite small, about half the size of an average length pen. It's quite thick as well so feels different from normal in my hand. Once you get used to that it's absolutely fine. Feels like good quality and fun to use
