I have broken toes in the past so love that these sandals have the toes covered. Love the bright colours in the straps..these sandals go with every tee I own. Also very comfortable. ...definitely not feminine, but sometimes comfort is just more important.

Love Keen shoes. I had read other reviews that said these were sized small, I found they fit like any other Keens, and could have ordered an 8.5, but I can live with the 9. These are bright, colorful fun sandals, yet tough enough to last a long time even with the abuse I will heap on them! If they are like my other Keens, I will wear them to work, casual outings, dog walking, etc. In other words, I'll be wearing them for most everything. The last pair of Keens I had that died were over 11 years old, and had been demoted to garden shoes at the end. I really miss them! I have also taken Keens off the shelf after a summer or winter (or longer) of sitting there, and they don't fall apart like a lot of other brands. My previous pair of Keens were looking a little worse for wear (5 years of walking will do that to a shoe), so I treated myself to a pair of these to replace them. These shoes are so comfortable to walk in, with the foot well supported and cushioned by the design. It may take a little to get used to the strap that sits close to the instep, and may even be worth going a size up to avoid it being too tight and rubbing. I am usually an EU 43 1/2 and went 44 1/2 - not too tight and not too long, so pretty much true to size.Love the style and the colour - great for my summer hikes.
I first wore Keen's Whispers when they were a slip on with no backs. When they added the backs, they didn't fit e. I was taking a chance with the Newports but I was amazed at just how wide they run. There is no way a person with narrow feet could adjust these to fit. After the Whispers were restyled, I switched to the Keen Venice II, H2 style and have been very happy with them because one can adjust the width of the foot with the middle ties and the heel has a velcro fastening that can be adjusted. Those are the only Keen's I've found that I can wear that accomodate my narrow feet. It was always difficult to find narrow shoes when I was younger and wore a triple A width but now, it's next to impossible to find any company that makes narrow shoes, especially sandals. ... I am so sorry Keen didn't do the Retro's in the Venice Style. I had to send these back.
If you think buying a Sandler don't buy it. It functions more like sneakers. It would protect toes than regular sandals. But never expected two major problems comes with it. 1st if you have any sand or small rocks get into it there is no way you can get rid off by couple swing your leg you have to stop remove it completely from your foot then take the stone out. 2nd you can't wear with bare foot it makes you sweet lot like sneaker.
Worn Keens for years, I purchased a half size larger (usually wear 8 and bought 8.5) and after wearing for a while still having pain on joint. They are narrower than the usual ones I have always purchased. I did see these are now Made in Mexico. Don't know if the manufacturing has changed. Unfortunately I purchased a black pair too, and haven't worn, now worried they will be just as bad as these. I love the colors, and thought they'd be fun. The pain at end of day is too brutal to wear at work.
The sandals are gorgeous and they arrived super fast. At the moment I have used them to go around and adapt to them but I am sure they meet the expectations in being an off-road vehicle. If you have a wide instep, I recommend taking a size larger because it is true that the straps are tighter than other sandals of the same brand.
These are my go to sandals. I have owned several pairs of these and they wear very well. They are the best. Great for walking, biking, hiking, and more. Easy to slip on and off with great support. My wife also has a pair and loves them.
I use these sandals on my feet too uncomfortable on my hands. Tutti frutti kaleidoscopic colours were not my first choice but they didn't have metal flake pink. 3rd pr of keen super duper wicked.
