This styling wax stick is perfect. It smells good and it works great. It keeps my hair tamed all day long even on hot days. It can be applied directly to the hair or on the finger tips then to the hair either way this works great . I most definitely recommend this.

1 of the best hair wax sticks

I used to use KMS for hair wax for 10+ yrs until they discontinued the product. I found this product and gave it a try. And I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice light fragrance and has great holding strength. Definitely serves my needs and I will likely buy again. Only drawback is the bottom is a pushup instead of turn and twist so when applying too much pressure, the wax stick gets pushed down into its base. But then all you have to do is push it back up.

Better than any other hair wax out there, period.

Beyond the zone used to carry a “Stiff head” wax stick that was discontinued for some mysterious reason. (Although it always flew off the shelves according to the staff). This is better, less greasy look. More expensive but worth it as it is the only wax that will hold my wavy hair in place and give it that straight look. I think it’s amazing.

Did nothing but attract dust

For all the hair products I buy. I’ve realised that Keracare is a tried and true brand for me. However, this wax stick didn’t work on my straightened natural hair (4A/4B). It didn’t stick it down, it had no hold. It made my hair dull, sticky and attracted dust to my hair. Kind of product that makes you need to wash your hair after using it.

Does the job

This does keep your hair down! Only thing is sometimes I feel like it leaves little bits in your hair if you don’t brush it through. Also think the packaging could be better as you have to touch the product to put it back in the tube. I thought it would have been a bit like a glue stick where you twist it up and down. Still like it though! Great to chuck in your bag.

Good hold

Bought this for hair slick back styles to stop using gels/hairsprays etc. holds well but does leave hair quite greasy but overall does the job well. Not fussed on the roll on style though would be better in a tub

Great for twist outs on natural hair

I've tried gels, butters and creams to try and get the look I want for twist outs. None of them quite worked out. I have this wierd hybrid hair, half straight and half kink. I found this at a local, Asian-owned, hair supply store and liked the ingredients list. It cost $21.99 but I decided to give it a try despite the price. I'm glad I did!! I love it. It is rich in natural oils and that is great for natural hair (careful, easy to use too much.) I conditioner washed my hair and did flat twists all over my head. The waxes in the product gives a good, flexible hold which leads to great wave definition. My hair also had shine and moisture. It looked fantastic and held up well too. Since there are waxes in the product, I will definetly be clarifying by adding baking soda to my conditioner next time I wash my hair. I do online research of the hair products I like and it looks like this stuff has multiple uses - smoothing edges, controlling cowlicks, texture, etc.

When I recently cheated on my current hair stylist by going to my old hair stylist, my old hair stylist used this product. I liked it and immediately purchased it. The product manages my neck fringes expertly! The only problem I have is the amount of hair that is on the stick after every use. I hope the product is not taking my hair out. Stay tuned...

This is an AWESOME edge control on natural hair!

I love this product so much to tame the nape of my hair as well as my frizzy fly-away edges. I hate how the description says for "special effects hair" what the heck does that mean?! I use this after a blow out, when I wear a high bun/ninja buns, when my hair is flat ironed it keeps my edges nice and tame... For a coarse naturalista like myself, this is a must-have product to achieve a sharply polished look. It's important not to use too much or you'll have a waxy build-up and try to use it after heat application. This is also the perfect companion to blending in your natural hair with extensions. Your leave-out will be flawless.
