Looks lovely but has flaws. You can’t tell how much is in it as the glass panel is difficult to see and steams up. But worse than that the lid stopped opening properly after just a few weeks!How long have they been making kettles now? You would think they could get the basics right by now. I was going to buy the toaster but won’t bother now.

Great looking kettle, fits perfectly with my kitchen decor. The only reason I gave it a four is because when you look inside the pouring area, you can see the glue or whatever they used to hold a piece, I thought about returning but honestly can’t deal with all the back and forth.

I had been shopping around for a teapot / kettle that would go with my various china sets, but couldn't find one until I discovered the Smeg Retro Style Electric Kettle (light yellow). It was an instant hit with my guests during a summer garden tea party. Not only that it was a great conversation starter, it was also very simple to operate. It heats up quickly, but I wish it has a feature to keep the water warm for a period of time. It's also a bit on the hefty side, but I like it just as it is - knowing that it is well made, of quality material (just like in the old days), simple, and classy. It now sits nicely on my kitchen counter as a functional art piece.

The tea kettle is one of the most used items in my kitchen, and in the kitchens of other family members. The soft yet bold punch of color is perfect for brightening any kitchen. They are safe, easy to use and clean, heat very efficiently, and do not emanate little to no noise at all. If you are an avid tea drinker, this is the product for you. You can control the temperature settings and brew the perfect cup of tea in minutes. I have used it multiple times a week for well over a year (maybe even 2 years), and it has yet to decline in function. Definitely worth the investment!
Love my new electric kettle! Heats quickly and so beautiful on my counter top with my champagne bronze kitchen hardware. I was used to a whistling tea pot and wasn’t sure I would like electric but now I’m sold.
I’ve been wanting this electric kettle for the longest time. I love the design and variety of colors. It was tough but I chose the champagne color and loves it! I drink a lot of hot water and tea so I use my kettle to the max. I would say I use the kettle about 20 times a day and I’m hoping this kettle will last a while. I do wish this kettle would hold the water’s temperature longer than it current does. I notice the water would turn to lukewarm within an hour or so. Past electric kettles I’ve used would hold temperature better after each boil. Also, this kettle takes longer to boil but not bad at all. Comparing to other kettles, this one takes a few minutes longer. Overall, this kettle is not a bad purchase. I still love it!
This Electric Tea Kettle is very noisy. Sounds like a rocket as the water boils, and the water doesn’t stay hot for long. By the time you finish the first cup of tea the rest of the water is just warm; also, Kettle is very heavy. I’m very disappointed with this purchase because it’s an expensive tea Kettle. If you want it for looks, it’s beautiful; however, I’m a serious tea drinker and I want it for hot water!! I do not recommend this tea kettle. There are better ones for way less money.

Pros: Nice looking kettle bit expensive but it was bought for me by my daughter as a Christmas present,it is louder than my last kettle which was a Kitchen Aid but you get used to the noise.Cons: Water gauge needs to be somewhere else as it is under the handle
