This fridge is well made, so happy I went with it. It is more efficient than my 60l kings fridge that I was using as fridge only. The 75l using as a fridge freezer set to 2 degrees and neg 18 degrees . It exceeds in all areas and makes the others feel like plastic junk.

These products are just what I was looking for. The fridge is a perfect size and keeps food and drink cold. Paired with the 170Ah AGM battery it stays on for up to 5 days without a recharge. The slide is great but could benefit from handles or tabs to help slide it open, especially if the car is parked on a slide angle.

Bought the fridge in 2019, use it regularly, apart from minor surface rusting it has been awesome. Don't bother buying the fridge slide if you are doing any serious travelling. Ordered it in November 2020, delivered in January 2021, remained unopened in box until it was installed in Ute tray May/June 2021 for a 7 week trip to the Big Red Bash @ Birdsville and camping in the south-west corner of Queensland. Locking mechanism started malfunctioning on this trip. Has been used 3 or 4 times since for coastal onroad camping and locking mechanism has failed and unfortunately is just out of warranty. I was expecting a durable product that lasts, not one that failed under such limited use, strongly suggest that you look for an alternative for the fridge slide.
Everything melted in the freezer section in the Ute canopy whilst travelling on a 40 degree day. Temp in freezer section averaged 7 degrees whilst set to -10. Until that episode it appeared to be a well designed and well built product.
HiFridge and slide are great.However, the cig lighter socket cover won't stay closed. Have submitted a report in your portal and have had no reply. So I would say great product ( outside of the slight imperfect socket cover) but after sales service is lacking.
The fridge has some good features but the important stuff, keeping food cold, is average. The temperature displayed seems inaccurate. Eg. Display 3 degrees and my own fridge thermometer reading 10 degrees. That is unsafe. Freezer showing -10 was -5 on thermometer. Temps seem uneven as display goes up and down even with fridge full. It seems underpowered for the size. I have adjusted temps to safe levels but I'd prefer accurate display and consistent temps.

(Have since rinsed a great deal more $'s a full 12Volt Lithium system and 200watt Solar Panels). Am yet to set up and use everthing, but am in the process. I have done a bit of research around the KA gear, and am impressed by the quality, presentation, and instructional/sales videos. I've 'fired' up the fridge on 240v, and it was fairly impressive how quickly and quietly it reached my set temps. I will be giving everthing a good test in December/January on a trip we are planning. I did a lot of research and I kept on coming back to the kickass 75ltr with slide. So I went to the warehouse at the sunny coast and those guys and girls went above and beyond with sale and service, even with making sure it was a good fit in the back of my Jeep. Hats off to you guys. As for the product itself….. it’s just the quality of the product and the efficiency of it all is second to none.
Bought this for our week on Moreton Island to cater for a group of five. What a ripper bit of kit. Ran it for a week before the trip then 7 days rocking around in the back of the Hilux. Didn’t miss a beat , everything stayed nice and cold. Great value for a quality product
