Kilner Wide Mouth Preserve Set of 6 | 500ml

Jars are excellent. Rings were not distorted, wax on lids looked good with no deformations. Have worked very well in my pressure canner with no residue adhering to the glass nor defects from the pressure canning process over 3000+ft above sea level. Happy with the investment, defiantly the go to jar in my household for preserving food, just as good as Ball but usually cheaper.

Nice looking quality glass, but disappointed that alternate lids such a bamboo or Ball plastic reusable lids do not fit top. Bought them for pantry storage. Did not use them

Bought 12 of these and had to return 10 of them. 9 had a defect in the glass which was the same shape & size on each jar, but located in different places. It was a partial depth crack about 1mm deep and 1 inch long, which did not go full depth, but I was afraid it would be a weak spot on the jar that could make it explode under the extreme conditions of pressure canning. The 10th jar did not have this defect, but did have a full depth crack in the screw band on the neck of the jar. So out of 12 jars to only have 2 that were defect free was a great disappointment. I emailed Kilner UK and they said this was not normal for their jars.....
