Extremely delicious mackerel that’s flaky, moist, mildly soft, flavorful but not overpowering. Used as a replacement for canned tuna (which is so often dry and intended to disappear into the recipe), this is an ideal tin for those people like me who really want to still know they’re eating fish, even if there are other components in each bite. I do wish there were more olives in here -only got 2 slices of green, 2 slices of black- but that’s a minor downside when the tin was so tasty overall.Probably the first tin of mackerel I’ve ever had where I thought, “Oh yeah, I should get more of this.” Recommended!

I have tried 20+ canned fish products over the last three months and this is by far my go to when I am hungry. The quality is great, every can is consistently good. The fish is flaky and soft and the Jalapeno adds just a little kick, the perfect addition to the flavor. The only canned fish that I enjoy more is over three times the price of this per can.

Easy to prepare a quick lunch or breakfast with salad or sandwiches. This is a staple in my cabinet. When I can’t think of anything to eat, I will pick a can of fish. So versatile and healthy. First time bought this fillet mackerel mediterranean style and really like it. The quality is excellent, and the ingredients are great. Rich in protein, contains 3000 mg Omega-3 fatty acids per serving, no carb, no sugar added. Very healthy consuming this canned mackerel and will buy again soon. Click thumb up if you like my review.
Easy to open packaging. Fish smells good and tasty. Not fishy at all. The Mediterranean style contains the highest amount of beneficial fish oil. Good to consume fish oil in your diet without swallowing the pills. Great flavours with a salad.
King Oscar is my favorite go-to brand for high-quality, tasty canned fish. I normally buy their sardines but the mackerel is a welcome change. This is great for a quick and convenient protein boost to my diet and adds beneficial Omega 3s to any meal. I also like that the brand's cans are BPA-free as a frequent canned fish eater.
The jalapeno flavour of mackerel is by far my favourite. It smells good and taste great. Portion size is perfect for my salad. It makes adding fish oil into my diet easy. Easy packaging to open.This is also by far the best in terms of the quality of fish. Not those farm fed fish.

Not tasty. Very expensive for this quality.MY EXPERIENCE: I poured it over hot cooked rice. Yet, the rice tasted very salty. The label showed 300mg sodium. There was no taste of herbs of Provence and no red bell peppers or black olives. Will not buy again.
Love this flavorful, chunky, and juicy mackerel! The Mediterranean-style canned fish are becoming my favorites, because one package of fish, olive oil, sliced olives, and peppers provide the ingredients needed to make an easy flavored protein-rich pasta or salad. These are whole fillets jammed into the tin, which is good for giving customer the maximum fish amount, but it can be a bit difficult to remove from the tin.
