I got the Kitchen Aid 5 ply clad stock pot the other day and was extremely pleased with it .This stock pot is larger than I expected. If you carefully follow the instructions for the Kitchen Aid 5 ply clas stock pot it becomes stick free without all those chemicals. Very high quality very worthy of the price. You can cook a lot of food in this stock pot. I love the fact that the 5 ply clad stock pot from Kitchen aid comes with the lid for the stock pot. I can now cook enough food in this stock pot to feed my family and not worry about running out. Live it and will definitely recommend to anyone who cooks

This KitchenAid 5-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 8-Quart Stockpot with Lid is an absolutely beautiful pot! I actually made a big batch of vegetable soup in it the other day, and it was just perfect for the task. I love that it’s got measuring lines on the interior that are really easy to see, so I could keep track of how much liquid to add. And once the soup was done and I removed it from the burner to cool off, so I could put the soup in the fridge, it really held it’s heat a long time.It is dishwasher safe, but I actually ended up hand washing it because it was so easy to clean.I love everything about this pot and would definitely recommend it to others.

Good size for double recipes. A big drawback for our family is the lack of hole in the lid. Also, the inside bottom of the pot absorbed a thin layer of food, even though there was diffident olive oil and tge flame was on low. Cleaned off but not as good as my Calphalon stainless steel.

The KitchenAid 5-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 8-Quart Stockpot with Lid is an excellent cooking pot. My fiancé always does a lot of cooking and our old stock pot we had was very warn and old. This new pot is heavy duty and has great features. There is measuring lines on the inside which is great if a recipe calls for certain measurements. This stockpot is also big enough to were you can make a huge batch of food. I would definitely recommend this stockpot to anyone who loves to cook and is looking for a great cooking pot.
This KitchenAid 8 Qt Stockpot is absolutely beautiful, and by far the nicest pot I’ve ever owned. You can see in my pics how shiny it is. The interior has a beautiful brushed finish it’s got measurement markings that are clear and easy to see. I have to say that I assumed it wouldn’t be dishwasher safe, so imagine my happy surprise when I read on the box that it is dishwasher safe. I’m going to be making a big batch of vegetable soup in this pot very soon! Actually I am so excited about it that I’ll be making everything in it! I’d definitely recommend it to others!
Good solid large pot for a variety of cooking needs. I like the contrasting handles - the handles do get hot so be aware that you will need a pot holder to maneuver the lid and pot. This is replacing a pot that was poorly designed and we are satisfied with this replacement of it.
My husband was in awe. He loves to make soup. We joke he cooks for an army. He loves this new pot. He ended up washing it and making chicken noodle and veggie soup. Was great size. Only down side it gets a little hot.
This 8 quart stockpot made an excellent batch of vegetable soup. The measuring lines on the inside made it easy to put the ingredients together. I browned the stew meat first and had no trouble with it sticking. This pot is heavy duty and durable. Its wide rather then tall which makes it easier to stir. The handles do get warm so a potholder or towel is needed. The lid fits tight and snug to keep the heat in and makes for easy storage in the fridge. There's no cold spots everything cooked evenly. Really enjoying using this well made high quality stockpot that will last a long time and be well used.
I love a nice big pot for cooking soup or pasta sauce. This pot kept my sauce very warm and worked great to simmer for a long time. I didn't notice any burning or staining as it was easy to clean. The pot cooked my food evenly as well. I do not dishwash my pots so I am unsure how the pot would be in the dishwasher. I suggest handwashing it.
I really like this. I was hesitant to buy stainless steel as I had the impression that things just end up getting stuck to the bottom of the pan but I also didn't want to invest in another nonstick pot. This is really good quality, and if you watch your cooking things shouldn't really get stuck to the bottom. But if they do, you can always add a little liquid and it unsticks. When washing, if you haven't gotten food stuck on too bad, it scrubs off (hopefully you're not using anything like a steel scrubber/Brillo pad). If it's a little burnt and stuck to the bottom of the pot, just soak it for a while and it all comes off pretty easy without leaving any marks on the pan.
