This has been particularly helpful during my diabetes in pregnancy where I am craving icecream but cant spare the sugar. It also makes incredible sorbet, a much healthier option. The bowel does take up a fair amount of room in the freezer but only until you get it to temp, then you can transfer the icecream into a tub. Highly recommend for all icecream lovers!

I got given this product as a birthday present a few months ago. It was the best present I have ever gotten! I think the price is super reasonable and the product is super easy to use.Sometimes the product is a bit fiddly to put together but it's easy when you know what to do.This product is super easy to use and is great for nice and delicious ice cream. I have made a few ice creams since buying this product and they have been a game changer, for example, I have made SALTED CARAMEL, CHOCOLATE and PISTACHIO. These were super INCREDIBLE!!! It was the best decision ever to make these and my family and friends love them so much!I love this product and definitely recommend.

I purchased it when it was on sale.The main reason I purchased the ice cream bowl is to create different flavors of ice cream.The ice cream that’s sold at the shops are full of ingredients that we don’t even know what they are. Also, I have to look for halal certified or vegetarian suitable products and that leaves me with a very few options.So far I have made vanilla and coconut ice cream with the ice cream bowl and it came out fantastic. My kids loved it. I’m just waiting for the summer so I can create different flavours of ice cream.I’m very very happy with the product. It’s so easy to use and makes fantastic creamy ice cream.

We love this accessory. I am a father of 3 children and thanks to this great accessory I am the hero at home! Exactly! I'm the Ice Cream Papa Man! It goes without saying that the quality you are used to from KitchenAid is absolutely brilliant. And the result is impressive, but really. It's great how step by step the ice is scraped off the edge. But the result is first class! It is important to put it back in the freezer after use and cleaning before you want to use it again.
I bought this 3 weeks ago & it’s a real game changer as far as making icecream goes. It’s quite easy to use , I only had a little difficulty getting the attachment onto the head of the mixer but once it was on the rest was easy. Just freeze the bowl overnight , have your ingredients ready, set it up & away you go. It really doesn’t take long before your icecream is ready! Bonus is the skies the limit when it comes to flavours & you know exactly what’s in it !
I bought this in February : Great things: it arrived late Feb as promised and I made 5 or 6 batches of fabulous ice cream Not so great things: Instructions are rubbish and i had to wade thru multiple youtube videos to find the relevant instructions on how to attach to my machine. The piece that attaches the paddle to the machine snapped after 5-6 uses which was very disappointing. Its now been over 10 days and a new part has been promised but is yet to be shipped. I adore my kitchenAid mixer and use it regularly but this issue has severely impacted my love of the ice cream maker and I cant honestly recommend it as a result.
The kitchenaid ice cream attachment is great for those who want to make their own homemade ice cream. I love that it is easy to clean (however no dishwasher, no immersion in water for the bowl) and is fairly straight forward to use. The ice cream that I have made has been so yummy and delicious and the consistency is great. I also like that it makes a clicking sound when the ice cream is done.The only downside would be that the attachments can be tricky to put on and you must have the bowl in the freezer for at least 24 hours to get results.
Love the bowl design with the fluted wall. I have tried other versions of the ice cream pre-freeze bowl versions and think this one is the best. Just store in the freezer for easy access. Stays colder longer, so really whips up the ice cream well. It has a great sturdy dasher attachment which stirs and churns the mixture. Easy to use and doesn't take up any space on your benchtop. I would love for KitchenAid to make an x-large bowl to suit the recipes with bigger quantities. It's easy to see when the ice cream is ready as it will start climbing up the sides of the bowl.
The Kitchenaid Ice Cream Maker convinced us across the board. After freezing the bowl for at least 16 hours, prepare your ice cream mix. This is then put into the running machine. After 15-20 minutes you have made a very creamy ice cream. The simple handling and the endless possibilities for great ice cream creations clearly speak for this great accessory. An absolute must for ice cream lovers.
I was looking for a new ice cream maker and having a kitchenaid artisan mixer i bought this one. As usual with all ice-cream maker the cream closer to the frozen walls are a bit difficult to get out but that is to be expected. The ice cream maker was very easy to fit and to use. It also fits nicely in my freezer at home. The strawberry yoghurt ice cream i made was delicious according to the whole family. The delivery from Harts of stur was as usual speedy.
