Purchased Stainless Steel Pasty Beater to make short crust pastry for the Thomas Keller Cheese Cake. The pastry turned out beautifully. Just like I expected. (the recipe calls for graham crackers but I thought short crust pastry would be better, and it was)I am still new to baking and to my KitchenAid. Might make biccies and also shortbread next.

Only used once so far for a batch of scones, but made cutting the butter into the flour a breeze, with great results in the end product! The stainless steel gives it great heft and quality too. Highly recommended

I recently bought this and has used it several times to make pastries. I’ve used it mostly to work with really cold butter and I’ve had no issues whatsoever so far. It is a great addition to the other attachments for my Kitchenaid stand mixer that I’ll be using often.

I am new to a pastry beater but have found a few ways to use it already. It is great for mashing potatoes and for making salmon patties and hamburgers. I will use this more than I had originally thought. It is also easy to clean.

I bought this a month ago, only used it a couple of times to do pastry. Works great, mixes ingredients really well without over working the dough. Highly recommend !!
I’ve only had this a little while and used it a couple of times for making pastry. Does a much more effective job of rubbing in the butter, gets it to breadcrumb stage more quickly and completely that the flat beater. Very impressed.
