Klairs Fundamental Water Cream Gel 70 ml

This gel cream has a gel-type consistency. It contains Jeju Green Tea Water and Panthenol to provide moisture and deep hydration with a light finish to the skin. It is recommended for all skins and seasons. I find texture to be very runny and thus making it difficult to scoop out with the spatula. Nevertheless, it was very easy to spread and felt calming on my skin. Also, a little goes a long way with this since it’s very moisturizing to the skin. The thing I dislike the fact that it leaves a dewy finish but I can get away with it with some powder.

The scent is not bothersome and you can't really smell it unless you sniff from the jar. I personally like unscented products like this. The moisturizer spreads so effortlessly on my skin. It feels so light yet rich. It provides deep hydration and absorbs easily into the skin due to its hydra emulsification system which mimics the skin's structure to deliver hydration deeper into the skin. It leaves my skin a bit shiny which lessens after full penetration of the product into the skin. I have a really damaged skin barrier from over exfoliating with chemical and physical exfoliants over the past years so I really appreciate the ingredient list of this product as it contains ingredients, such as green tea, Panthenol (a vitamin B-5 derivative) and centella asiatica, which are great for healing our skin’s moisture barrier and also calming irritation and reducing redness and inflammation. This did not break out my acne-prone skin. Rather, I found that this moisturizer really did help to calm my skin and breakouts when it got irritated from a new product I introduced to my skincare routine. I also really like how this has no fragrance as my skin is very sensitive. This pairs really well with the Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop and gives you an instant glow. Just like all Klairs moisturizers that come in a jar, this one came with a spatula, which is really convenient and minimizes the risk of bacterial contamination. However, I do prefer having my moisturizers packaged in a tube or a pump bottle as they are much more hygienic. All in all, I would say that this is a great moisturizer and will definitely be my go-to for the hotter months!

For me, it's lovely but definitely not enough in the winter, so I'll give this a try in Summer time The smell is very off-putting: it smells like plastic in the beginning and afterwards, when the plastic smell dissappears, it has a weird odour of clothes that have been forgotten in the washing machine. The odour dissappears quite fast but it's definitely not nice. Quite some reviews name this in different sites

So I decided to try this product due to my skin being extremely dehydrated and my skin type is combo/dry. Game changer. NO GREASE. NO DRYING. My skin feels so hydrated after using this! The consistency is goopy but don’t let that fool ya. This babe absorbs like dream. It has this nice seal, softness to it. Not too thick, not too thin. I think this moisturizer is great for sensitive, dehydrated skin types for sure. Especially if you have dehydrated skin. It has no scent and the texture is great. Get your hands on this if you skin barrier concerns.

This was one of those products I was excited to try because everyone was raving about it. In my experience, this is a nice summer moisturizer for oily skin. Didn't irritate my skin, was soothing and the ingredient list is great too. However, I wasn't wow'd by it. It is hard to find a summer moisturizer for oily skin living in a humid environment so that was a plus point but other than that it didn't do anything amazing and felt like a basic moisturizer with a higher price point. One thing I noticed is it smelled like a banana sometimes. One thing I didn't like is the tub with spoon packaging. I would rather it came in a tube. It is a good gel moisturizer for summer but I won't be repurchasing because it is expensive.

The Best moisturizer for summer & oily skin

I have tried a lot of "light" moisturizers and "oil free" moisturizers. My skin hates them all, and will breakout if I use them during the day. Especially now in the summer heat. I stopped using moisturizers during the day altogether and instead used my vitamin c Serum as my last step. Until this! It's by far the lightest and my skin is fooled. It never gets irritated by this moisturizer. Finally! This is a new staple to my routine.
