I bought this for my daughter at school. It is a really sturdy and nice water bottle. I would say that there are a few things we do not like about it though. The mouth piece is always exposed which collects dust and dirt when we put it in a bag for traveling around. The mouth piece is also hard to tell if its pushed all the way down and that has caused us to spill the whole water bottle out a couple times. In terms of sturdiness it is really great. I see this remaining in good condition for a long time. Its convenience is good have sitting out around the house but not for travel. I would order a different top for a bottle next time.

I like the classic 18oz I ordered, but I MUCH prefer the old classic 12oz that I lost. Please bring that back. I like the fact it is slightly smaller and I think it was just a tad wider which I also prefer. It was plenty of water for a plane trip or a day hike and because it was smaller, it was easier to fit into pack outer pockets or in the brief case I use when I travel. I also like the old all-plastic "ring" cap much more than the new one with the metal ring. I wish you would bring back the 12oz classic bottle in brushed stainless (not as slippery as the enameled ones) and the all plastic ring cap for it. Thanks.

It's a beautiful and unique print and the size is perfect for my book bag or purse. Unfortunately the sports cap is not leak proof. It leaks through the small release hole if tipped to the side and has gotten my bag wet several times in the month since I've bought it. You also have to be careful to close the spout very tightly or it leaks there as well. I love the bottle enough that I'm switching to a standard twist off cap. Unfortunately, Klean Kanteen only has turquoise tops in the sports style so I've purchased a cap from another well known brand whose caps fit klean kanteen. Given the cost of the bottle I'm disappointed to have to spend more money just to use it.

I love this bottle! It’s well made and the outer coating is pretty durable. It’s the perfect size for daily use. The only thing I’m disappointed with is the sport cap. It just feels cheap and not thought out. There’s no positive click or sound when the mouth piece is shut or opened so sometimes it leaks when I haven’t closed it all the way. I would have expected more from klean kanteen. I hope to see more lids in the future.
I have been using my Klean Kanteen 27oz everyday for the last 4 years. It still manages to not impart any flavours when I choose to flavour my water, remain easy to clean (I just chuck it in the dishwasher) and most importantly it’s reliable surviving multiple drops, dings and scratches.I have tried numerous water bottles in the past but they kept failing after 1-2 year.Only regret was getting the Matt black, I would recommend getting a bright colour or even just silver as the Matt black has a tendency of hiding in bags or disappearing when your in a rush to get ready for work.
Very expensive for that. It isn't double walled. So water gets warm fast and condensation everywhere on the outside of the bottle. My 5.00 Aldi ones I've had 3 years? No problems. Yours was originally 30 at Whole Foods. 12.00 on sale for chartreuse with a dark blue cap. If it were double walled and kept things cool longer than about 30 minutes, I might keep it. It doesn't leak (so far), I like the color and wider mouth. But it has to keep things COLD. It doesn't. It's got to go back.Cheap Aldi ones? I can easily get 6-8 full hours of cold with no central air in summer. 5.00 each. Found one I "lost" under my car seat...? Left it Friday, didn't find it til Sunday and it was over 90F out. I love this bottle. The cap itself is actually really nice, whether for chugging or just taking a sip. The loop on it is easy enough to hold onto with one finger if needed. The overall design is nice, though it is slim enough that it might move around in a cup holder. The pattern I got on mine is appealing to look at, the type of paint seems strong. It has survived a couple minor falls without paint scratches or chips.
The bottle itself is good and what we like about our other kleen kanteen products. The graphic is nice and as represented. One downside is that the sport cap is noisy. It whistles…if you will, when you drink, unlike the other bottles we have. I hasn’t gone away with use. We purchased this product on sale and will keep it, but would clarify with kleen kanteen that this particular cap isn’t include on future purchases.

They were the only ones with a "sport" cap and I assumed they were insulated just like the one I had. They were not and sweated significantly with a cold beverage. I tried to contact KleanKanteen numerous time by phone, but apparently, due to shortage of help, were not available by phone. My purpose of the phone call was to see if larger classic bottles were available with the "sport" cap. The 18oz bottles have little use for me, as the surface gets too cold to hold when I am running, and I am expecting water to freeze in them this winter when I am skiing.
