Klein Tools 5189 Tradesman Pro Hard Case Large

This is a really nice case for my clamp meter. It is a snug fit but the Klein CL440 fits with the magnet tether attached. I also managed to get a line splitter, the test probes, and the temperature probe in the case as well. It is solid and looks nice.

Awesome! But what if...

I only give 4 stars to possibly be seen. Five stars as a stand alone product. 4 stars until we get more sizes. I would love to use this same container for multiple items. More sizing options with color coded trim would make this Elite! Great quality.

Excellent case

Best case I've found for protecting my various meters. The hard shell offers much more protection than the soft case that typically comes with a meter. Fits most of my meters well, though the ones with non-detachable leads are a tight fit. I can now keep my primary one with me in my main tool bag with no fear of it getting damaged. A bit pricey perhaps for what it is, but it's of nice quality. Plan on getting a few more, to protect various other sensitive items.

Good meter case

Fits a fluke 77 IV with a little wiggle room. I like this better than the soft case, my meter was getting prematurely antiqued so I wanted to protect it better. This case keeps it from getting banged up. Not too bulky. It’s held up good so far.

I would have given it 5 stars if it was about 7 dollars cheaper.. It is a very good zippered hard shellbox that will hold any of my testers or (i have 3 now) assorted nuts bolts and screws, great addition to my collection...We could all have a break from the ever increasing covid tax

Perfect semi-hard case for meter and accessories

Despite being ChiComm made, it’s best made compared to other zippered cases for the price. Smooth zippered and large pulls.Doesn’t have a mesh divider on lid so made a compartment for jumpers/ clips out of 3mm high density EVA foam. Just make it like square tubing and bend on metal edge with heat gun to form square and put piece of hook side Velcro on bottom and will sit right in place. Ready to throw in tool case.

Real solid case, I bought the medium so it's more square than rectangular. Fits my MM300 with a little clearance, and fit my safety glasses or could have put my laser thermometer in there with it. There were no pockets inside just one big compartment, but that's fine by me. Could probably fit some nice headphones, or smaller inspection equipment. Happy with this buy.

This is a review of the Klein Tools 5189 Tradesman Pro Organizer Hard Case, Large. Originally I purchased aKlein Tools 69401 Meter Carrying Case for my multimeter. That case was a little tight and a hassle to use. Ultimately the zipper stitching failed and the zipper came apart rendering the case useless. I replace that case with this #5189 Tradesman Pro case and it's definitely better but still not the ultimate for me. The case has decent quality and the zipper seems pretty sturdy, but not sure why it is called an "organizer." There is no compartment, just a large single compartment so the probes are loose inside, not separated from the multimeter. This is a terrific little tool case, especially for small and delicate tools. I'm using mine as a carry case for a Kodak Zi8 camera and all accessories, including lenses, gorilla pod, batteries, charger, cable, and even a small portable light. The case is made of ballistic nylon over a hard shell, and is about the size of a standard trade paperback book (a big, thick one - about 800 pages). Like every Klein Tools case I've owned, the price on this was right, the quality was outstanding, and the value overall was a home run. I would (and doubtless will) buy another one. Or two. Or three...

bought three of these so far. two are used to hold a set of standard and metric nutdrivers, another for a two tone generators and tone wand(klein tools). used a silver permanent marker to mark the nutdriver bxs. i've used the one for the toning set for about 6-7 months at work and its held up pretty well. when its rained hard enough and i left it open(while using my tools), its held water in it. dried out fairly quick. may seem a bit pricey but worth it.
