The King of Cold Weather Sleep ComfortThe biggest, warmest, most comfortable inflatable pad at around 900 grams. It’s incredible what Klymit can back to pack into this luxury pad without going overboard on weight. Klymalite lofted synthetic insulation keeps you comfortably warm throughout the night on a V-Chambered sleeping surface that’s wide enough so you can move around without feeling restricted. It even rolls up small enough to easily slide in a backpack.

Used this sleeping pad already with 2 camping trip with no issues. The sleeping pad is in perfect thickness and with individual air chambers, I did not need to worry to sleep on deflated sleeping pad. It provides comfortable support when sleeping without notice, really like it and recommend to get one.

Comfortable, warm and packs down small

This is a long, wide sleeping mat. It’s comfortable even for side sleeping and is well insulated. Even though it’s long and wide, it packed down small. It blows up easily. Just check the width dimensions if you are tight for space in your tent.

Compact and super comfortable!

This is an amazing air mattress. It feels almost like I'm in my own bed. It's plenty wide and my nylon sleeping bag doesn't slip around on it like some I've had. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, was blowing it up. That was quickly solved by rubber banding a large plastic bag to the nozzle (I had cut a small hole in the bottom corner of the bag), capturing air in the bag, then pushing the air into the sleeping pad. Easy peasy. It rolls up nice and compact - about 10" long and 5 1/2" diameter in the stuff sack, and that includes the plastic bag I use to inflate it. I'm a senior citizen and a light sleeper, so the extra few bucks for a good night's sleep was well worth it.

Extremely comfy and warm... valves needed repairs
19 September 2019

I purchased this sleeping pad to live luxuriously while car camping. It started the night super comfy but I'd always end up on the ground before the morning. This occurred for a whole summer while I thought maybe I just close the valves right or I had done something wrong. After a week long trip of putting a few breaths into it in the middle of the night (every night) I got angry enough at it and took a spray bottle to the thing to figure out where the leak was. It turns out both of the valve stems were leaking, one a little but and the other A LOT. Not wanting to have to go to the effort of returning it, a little bit of krazy glue in the valve stems later and it's the sleeping pad it should have been in the first place.

Good quality product

I researched thoroughly for an economical alternative to exped, and settled on Klymit insulated static v luxe sleeping bad. I received a very quick delivery from MooseJaw, at a great price, and while I thought the product seemed like excellent quality, my wife and I did a practice sleep for 8 hours on it, in the living room, and we had a sore back in the morning. I tried it a 2nd night, slightly less inflated, and didn't make it through the night. I was very disappointed. Not in the product, but rather just my inability to be comfortable on it. It has many great reviews, so I suspect we are just getting a little old (50's). I liked how small it packed up, and it's relative light weight, but just couldn't get comfortable. I cannot say enough great things about ... MoreI researched thoroughly for an economical alternative to exped, and settled on Klymit insulated static v luxe sleeping bad. Great sleeping pad
8 August 2023

This is a great sleeping pad, long to inflate without a pump, but easy to deflate (once you figure out how to do it best). I used it on a 12-day canoe trip in NWT on various types of ground and it performed well. Easy to store in its bag when deflated properly. Used in conjunction with the sheet, it is a great little bed.

Seems Like a good sleeping pad for my requirements.

So far this sleeping pad has checked off most of my needs during my controlled in house testing.Pros:-I am 6'1" and it is plenty long enough that both my feet and pillow are on the pad at the same time.-The width is great.-I can clasp my hands on my chest and neither elbow goes over the sides.-I can Lay flat and both arms remain on the pad.-Thick enough that my hips or shoulders do not touch the hardwood floor while on my side. (I am 235 lbs). You will touch the floor if you sit or kneel on it.-Spent 20 minutes on a cold basement floor and it was warm (Not likely going to test it outside until spring).-Does not feel heavy or bulky.-Inflated (with a pump) and deflated quickly and easily.Cons:-The V-chambered surface feels like you are trying to sleep on ... MoreSo far this sleeping pad has checked off most of my needs during my controlled in house testing.Pros:-I am 6'1" and it is plenty long enough that both my feet and pillow are on the pad at the same time.-The width is great.-I can clasp my hands on my chest and neither elbow goes over the sides.-I can Lay flat and both arms remain on the pad.-Thick enough that my hips or shoulders do not touch the hardwood floor while on my side. It may take some time to get used to that.-It is noisy when you rub against it. Similar to running your hand along a tent fly. It does not have a brushed surface.I am sure this pad will work just fine for me. I gave it 4 stars out of fairness to the fact that I have not really used it. However, the noise thing is an issue for me right off the bat.

Seems good
23 December 2021

I bought this mat on a Black Friday Sale. I purchased this mat for multi day kayak camping trips as my 20 year old Thermarest takes up a lot of precious storage space. I tried the pad inside and I can feel the mat warming up and as a slid sleeper there is enough cushioning that my hip is not on the ground. The big drawback is it is very noisy even when I'm only moving my legs, Lets hope I get over this annoyance.

This is my second luxe
28 October 2022

This is my second luxe pad. The wider size is a really luxury to have while camping. You don’t have to feel like you’re falling off your mattress. It maybe a bit heavy for backpacking but definitely good for front country. 2 luxe pads fits perfectly inside my 3P tent.
