Kong Dog ZoomGroom Raspberry

I have a German Shepherd. It is well known that they shed.. a LOT. And... they're pretty big. My girl is above the average size. It is so great not having to worry about using a desheder before AND after her bath. This product gets so much fur off so easily. It gets rid of the hassle and cuts down her grooming time by about an hour. Also using this in the bath stops her from getting impatient quicker. I definitely recommend getting this product, especially if you've got a squirmer.

This I find to be excellent as they've only managed to superficially scratch it yet. As an idea for people who do buy this, try pushing a tennis ball into the center of it. They can see the ball, smell the ball, observe the ball moving around, even reach it with their tongue, but try as they may, they cannot get the ball out of this toy. Keeps them interested for hours at a time. The toy s also covered in tough bristles which are great for keeping their teeth clean. I definitely recommend this toy for owners of aggressive chewers. I must say, I love the Zong ZoomGroom Dog Brush! I tried the Raspberry Regular 10 pack for all dogs and was so pleased with myself. This brush is fantastic! While I was shampooing my dog with this brush, it was actually massaging her at the same time! But not only massaging, her loose hair was also sticking to the brush. I’m so excited over this product. A brush that massages and grooms while shampooing? Now that my kind of brush!

I run an animal rescue out of my house and I pet sit for a living (which includes additional services like bathing, grooming, shots, deworming, etc etc at the owner's request) so I probably have several lifetimes worth of experience with pet products at this point. I personally don't like these brushes and feel like they're better off as doggie chew toys, if I'm totally honest. The best thing I've found for grooming almost any dog is a simple fur rake that you can find on Amazon for under $10. As far as recommending this product I would definitely have to say "Try at your own risk and be prepared for potential disappointment. "

I was given it as a gift and I’m amazed by the results! Firstly it’s soft enough I’m not worried about hurting their skin, they even like it! It’s like having a good back scratch. It’s not a thorough groom, but it doesn’t half get all of the undercoat moving! I like to pair it with a comb of some description to move the excess hair after loosening everything up. It’s great at working sprays into the fur too. I would note that it picks up salt easily which is both good and bad- after the beach I get it out of their coats with the ZoomGroom and then it needs a quick wash under the tap. It’s also really good at getting fur off furniture; I realise it’s only meant for the animal- but it does a great job of grabbing clumps after grooming too. I’m a mum to 2 fur boys who shed a LOT! My short haired dog and very fluffy cat shed their fur like crazy all over our house, which drove my hayfever crazy until we purchased this! My dog cat both tolerate this brush so well over others; infact I feel like they love it and probably feel like they’re being treated to a massage! This little brush grooms them so well, reduces their dander and brushes out their loose fur without the fur flying everywhere in the process. It’s super easy to use too! 100% reccomend!

Since quarantine, I’ve been brushing my dog every single day for about a month. It was a dual sided brush, one soft and one hard bristle. I wasn’t happy with how it was working, so I picked up this brush. And I’m amazed! I was extremely skeptical see it online, but now I’m all in. It looks like a scalp massager. The photo attached is after about 30 mins of doing circular motions. My dog loves it and will lean her whole body into me while I brush her (she didn’t like the other brush that much!) it’s also super easy to clean off. Just run it under water with some soap. If your dog has a waterproof coat, this is so nice during baths. I have a bloodhound and it takes forever to get water through her coat, this brush helps with that. It also removed so much hair, so I suggest brushing out your dog several times before using this in the bath to spare your drains! The down side is this doesn’t collect the hair. Hair will go flying everywhere. So I suggest using a brush (or your hand) to wipe off the hair and then keep at it with the Kong brush. Do this outside! I use a soft brush and then scrap the Kong brush through the soft brush to remove the hair. It’s also a little bit of an odd shape to hold, so if you have arthritis this might not be the brush for you. But if you want a brush to completely remove a winter coat, here it is!

I have an English Cream Golden Retriever and this is a must have to use daily to help reduce shedding. I love the shape, it fits my hand very well, and the material makes it easy to grasp, which is a big plus because anything I drop my dogs thinks is her chew toy! It comes in several sizes to fit your dog as well. I love how easy it is to clean it, I scrub it in the sink with hot soapy water and let it air dry. I also use it when giving her a bath, it helps to get the shampoo and conditioner through all of her fur.

It’s not my favorite brush for a dog. It’s a little flimsy. I usually use one from furrinator but tried this because I love Kong products. I have a 70lb Black Labrador Retriever. He has lots of fur and sheds so much, especially in the summer. I feel this brush would be great for smaller dogs. Larger dogs not so much. Labrador fur is very coarse and thick. This doesn’t do much to help with shedding. My dog loves it as toy! He can’t chew through it. So I love that about Kong products.
