KONG is a super legit brand of dog toys, chews and so much more THAT LAST, for most dogs. I love the little rubber bones w/nubs (not sure if the actual name) for puppies. then as they get older, you get larger Kong toys. I love this one as you can easily stuff it with several things, peanut butter being the easiest! One thing I do want to note is that I’m not a fan of the cheese stuff by Kong to stuff the toys with- it’s sort of gross to me!

I fill the kongs with peanut butter and then add a treat for the sprinkle on top. This treat works great in the basic beehive Kong. In the bone Kong it sticks out and can break off and get stuck in the middle path. The dogs love the treat overall.

I have two dogs, a golden retriever and German shorthair pointer. The GSP destroys every toy! She hasn’t been able to do that to this one yet. Both enjoy the chew with the toy also. I think toys that chew like these also help with teeth cleanliness. So I would highly recommend this toy especially for those that have destructive ones at home!! I put the stuff n snap (PB) inside this weekend to extend the play/distraction because both do not like fireworks! This did help to divert their attention from that some. Needless to say, they got extra treats/playtime this holiday weekend. Toys didn’t get destroyed dogs were distracted some from the fireworks…win-win!!!!

I say I would recommend them. As a snack. But not for the purpose which they are being sold. These are okay as a snack, but don't expect your dog to have a difficult time getting these out of the Kong. I bought the snack 1 size larger than the Kong. My lab has the cookie out within less than 10 seconds. I place it in the Kong backwards (large end first with small end protruding) and try to leave the least amount of cookie showing as possible (less than 1") and still it is out in less than 10 seconds. The dog likes them as a snack by themselves, but I have tried everything in those Kongs and have come to realize they are pretty much a waste for my dogs. I have owned a mini schnauzer and same thing. Nothing really stays in them long enough to hold the dog to the toy ... MoreI say I would recommend them. As a snack. I have owned a mini schnauzer and same thing. Nothing really stays in them long enough to hold the dog to the toy more than a minute. It either breaks off and floats loosely in the Kong to where it is so difficult the Labrador Retriever will give up and leave the cookie inside and then I have to soak it in water until the cookie dissolves to get the cookie out. OR The dog gets the cookie out in a few seconds and the "hours of play" that are listed on the Kong package are void. Several friends of mine who have smarter breeds than mine have said the same thing. Kong's aren't meant for the intelligent breeds that can figure out how to work the cookie out quickly. Then the toy serves no purpose.
My dog really liked these but I was surprised when I received the small size when I thought i had ordered large as pictured. I'll blame being visually impaired that when I selected the 7 oz package I didn't see the product picture change to the small size treats. I do think it needs to be made more clear that the 7 oz is the small and 11 oz is the large. I had chosen the 7 oz thinking I wasn't sure if he would like them so buy the smaller package. I ended up buying the large at another store here locally so I wouldn't have to pay shipping on a re-order. Other than that, as I said he really likes them and it does keep him busy. Someone else said their dog loses interest due to the tight fit. I have noticed this a little bit. Fallon will go after it for quite awhile ... I just stick my finger in and break it in half, shake it so he knows there is something in there, and he goes at it again.
These treats are helpful to stick in the end of a Kong (small or med.) and it will keep your dog busy. I sometimes add the Kong easy spray also (or other treats). These treats wedge in there quite tightly. There are times where I just step on the Kong to crush up the snack so my dog can finally get it out. She loves them it can just be difficult at times to get out of the Kong itself.
I’ve been buying Kong cookies for 7 years to stuff inside a Kong classic. My 14lb chi-terrier mix loves them and they keep his attention occupied for hours. I love that the ingredients are simple and recognizable. However, a recent change in the past year has been for the worse. The cookies are smaller and crumble more easily. They fall out of the toy faster and don’t last as long. Combine that with the packaging change from a box to plastic and most cookies arrive in a crumbled mess unusable for their intended purpose. I usually get peanut butter but recently tried two other flavors and the change has effected all of them. (The Kong classic toy, by the way, is 8+ years and going strong!)
I have yet to meet a treat that my dogs do not like, and if it is peanut butter flavored, always a winner. Both dogs weren't crazy about the peanut butter treat in the Kong, but the treats without the Kong? Yes please. As a side note, these treats do fit well into a Kong. And if you need to remove leftover treat from a Kong, soak it in hot water.
My 8 lb, 8 year old Yorkie, Pip, has been getting these ("Kong Cookies" as I call them) as a very special treat since he was a puppy. It's the only one I allow him to have, and on a very limited basis. He loves them. This order included other items, and, as always, Chewy's got everything right. On top of that, my order arrived sooner than expected. I've been ordering from Chewy's for years, and the service is great every time.
We ordered these to use alongside our Kong Extreme Dog Toy that Bailey loves so much. It may just be our dog in particular, but she doesn't even bother trying to get this particular treat out of her Kong Toy, she just kind of moves it around with her tongue eating all the other treats I stuffed in there as well. By the time she's lost interest in it, the only treat that remains is this treat in particular. So I thought maybe this was just too challenging for her. I decided I would try to break them up a little to make them easier to obtain, and they were hard as a rock, almost impossible for me to break them by hand. I then just gave her a whole one without putting it in the Kong Toy in hopes that they could be eaten as a dog biscuit and she dropped it on the floor ... I'm not sure if these were a bad bunch and that's why they were so hard and she refused to eat them or if they're meant to be dissolved from the dog licking them in the toy and she just wasn't a fan of the taste so they didn't work for us. Either way, these were a no go for us.
