These blocks have great potential, but do not totally deliver. First, the size and general design is great. The major issue is with the release to turn the blocks and raise the point. I had one block out of four that I could press and turn on the first try. I hope, as other reviewers have mentioned, that they will be easier after using for a bit. A better design would be an internal detent that allowed the blocks to turn without having to press a plastic tab. The minor issue is with the thickness of the rubber. I am used to and was expecting rubber like my Rockler blocks have. This rubber layer is much thinner and very easy to compress so heavier items will scrape the plastic edge. Using more pucks and/or lighter items are not an issue.

The plastic the product is made of is so hard that you need superhuman strength to depress the button controlling the twisting movement that raises and lowers the tip. KREG should be embarrassed to still sell that product in what is otherwise a great product line !

These little blocks a really nice to have. I've been refinishing some tabletops and having to let one side dry before finishing the other side. With the blocks, after finishing the bottom side, I just flip it over onto the points and finish the top. I don't even notice point marks on the bottom.I find it a little difficult to twist the bottom to switch from the points to the flat mode.

I wasn't sure if these little pucks would really work. Boy was I wrong! They grip the wood and allow you to do your work. Just that simple. If they get dusty, wipem clean and they are ready to use again. The paint/stain tips are a nice bonus. I use them all the time. A good helper indeed.
I bought these to help me sand/paint a board to mount a mailbox. The set I have are a little tough to open (pop up) but these things are AWESOME! Love these things. Made sanding and painting a breeze! It was so nice to be able to sand/paint the sides of the board an not get get pain on my work surface. These are worth every penny!
Maybe the most useful shop tool I’ve ever purchased. It looked like a good idea so I purchased a set. Turns old it was a great idea and I continue to find uses for them. Their stability and grip strength is amazing in preventing almost anything from slipping. For sanding, painting and possibly sawing certain items. I would consider buying another set for sawing items so there would be no drop off.
This is a good idea, but it needs some quality control. When I first tried to use them, I had a very hard time getting them to move from one position to the other. I thought I was doing something wrong, but I finally was able to get one of them to change from one position to the other! After twisting it from one function to the other a few times, it does now work the way you advertise. I had a rough time with the other blocks as well. They all work fine now. I received a portable work table that had problems from the factory. You need better or at least some inspection on your products!!!
These are excellent. Well made and versatile... way more features than your standard bench cookie! Love these. Have eight and may want more : )
Wasn’t sure I would use them as fast as I did, and worked very well. My only issue is that with mildly arthritic hands, it was at first difficult to twist the blocks to reveal the point. Will see what happens the next time. Otherwise very happy.
glad to have received them, nothing special about packaging. took out of the box and started to explore their functions, not that happy with the build of them, plastic body, for me it was hard to get a grip on them to press in on the tap so that they can rotate the top half, which make them function, maybe over time that tab will soften up or it’ll just break off which will just render them useless
