Its a good piece of kit to add to your collection especially if you already own a circular that isnt compatible with a guide rail/track from the brand of said circular saw and you don't want to have to splash out on a whole new system just to get the rail/track.Beware its not compatible with all circular saw's. I found this out after buying mine. Contact Kreg company and ask them to confirm compatibility.

Easy to follow instructions Fits Framing Circular saw the only minus is the plastic is very flimsy. My sled fell off the saw when fitting and the plastic line marker broke it was simple to replace on ebay. you just have to remember to take your time when setting up. when this is done evrything is straightforward and easy keeping to the instructions and safety guidelines.

I would recommend it, the value is good and the quality is okay. Set up was fairly simple, had to make a few adjustments. I suggest you check the measured cut before using it after it has been set up for a while. The only concern I have is the base mount for the circular saw. You would think Kreg would have a better and strong base then the plastic used. It's okay, and the clamp that holds the base to the adjustable cutting slide is a little weak as well. I expect I'll have to change that after some serious use. What ever you do....don't drop it.
I would recomend it because if you set it up properly it will produce acurate enough cuts for most jobs and the design is sound. However, I think it is over priced for some bits of plastic and an aluminium rail, which is also why I don't rate the quality. I would pay a little more for something better made because it is an extremely useful accessory that has already seen a lot of use. Sadly, even with care, I don't expect it last as long as it should. It's too flimsy.
I'm an experienced carpenter and was looking for a good saw guide. I thought the name Kreg would be it. However, I couldn't get a saw to mount on it securely, and I tried 3 different saws. I ended up drilling a hole in my saw base, and another corresponding hole in the saw guide base, and bolt it securely to my saw. It now works awesome!

Ive been using the pocket hole jigs for years and so figured Id try this product out. Lots of plastic parts, and so it feels pretty flimsy. I have a worm drive skill saw that I used with this, and the clamps that hold the saw on the guide really only fit on one side, and Id have to readjust it after each cut to make sure it was square. I boukgt this thinking it would be an easier option than hauling my table saw to the job site, but after one project, im not sure I would use this again.
WOW !!! I'm totally impressed!!! I could never cut very good with a circular saw and I'm doing a project were I have to rip a bunch of 3/4" plywood and I saw a video on this kreg jig so I figured I would give it a try. I put my circular saw on it which took no time and started cutting I set it up to cut 3" off the length of the plywood and it's dead on the money!! Now I cut excited straight and smooth lines every time!! Thank you very much!!
I wish Id bitten the bullet and bought this ages ago as its a brilliant piece of kit. I can rip a 4m length of plywood into absolutely perfectly straight and parallel pieces with no effort now. After using it for a day Im using it for all sorts of sizes - its a piece of cake to set up. I use the index all the time - dont have to bother drawing a line as I know itll be spot on. Top piece of kit.
