Kristin Ess Weightless Shine Leave-In Conditioner 250 ml

I have been on the hunt for a good leave in conditioner that doesn't break the bank for quite a while. I am a huge fan of the It's a 10 leave in conditioners but i hate dropping $40 on them. I have a lot of hair so it takes quite a but of product. So far this stuff has been working great for my hair. It's light weight and makes my hair easier to brush through after a shower. My hair is quite healthy and shiny on its own so I wouldn't say that this stuff has added any extra shine to it. It does have quite a strong scent to it. It's not a bad smell its just very strong and that is really my only complaint. It does however dissipate as your hair dries. If you have courser/curly hair I don't think this would give you enough moisture like cream leave in conditioners can.

I love the super easy application of it , you spray 5 to 10 sprays onto wet hair , let it do its thing! It transforms you hair into salon fresh beautiful hair! The smell is so beautiful ! The shine and lightweight feeling it leaves my hair in such better condition then if I didnt use this ! Cruelty free, color keratin safe ,vegan , NO PARABENS OR phthalates!!!!! This is a huge deal to me, safe for every hair , I love this product, high quality and actually improves my hair ! CVS had it for 40% off full price is 14.99 , still an amazing deal , I highly recommend it. I loved it so much I went back to buy one for my best friend to add to her birthday gift!!!Will be trying out other products from Kristin Ess !

Awful

I should have looked at ingredients,one of the top ones is keratin (and anything hydrolyzed is protein as well) explains why so many reviewers along with myself have dried wrecked hair after using this.. because while "keratin" has lately been trending in hair care, it's not actually something MOST people need to use in their hair.. let alone daily! It will actually cause damage to most hair types when you use every time you wash your hair and give you protein overloaded hair, making it brittle and snap off! This did absolutely nothing a leave in conditioner should do, no moisture and in fact actually dried my hair out severely with ONE use, and no added shine that it claims. Dried out my hair

I invested a decent amount of money on this line so as to give the products the best chance to work. I was very confident they'd at least be mediocre. I got 3 shampoos, 2 conditioners, a conditioning mask and multiple styling products. Needless to say the best part about them is the beautiful packaging. As far as performance, they made all my hair significantly worse. I could have gotten better results with a $2 bottle of sauve and zero styling products. My hair is dried out and looks horrible. I enjoyed using the products and applying the styling products to wet hair. But once my hair dries it's terrible. I tried each product in every way imaginable and in various amounts to figure out a way to make it work. I feel like I want to chop all my hair off it's so bad. And the more I try the products, the worse it gets. I now use the shampoos as hand soap and there are several ways to use conditioner (not on your hair) just check youtube if you're interested. But these styling products will be a challenge to get through. Such a shame and lesson learned. Be careful of YouTube videos because many of them are dishonest advertising. A popular YouTuber recommended this line and it really messed up my hair.

Excellent product

Needed a replacement for Jean & Len keratin leave-in, thankfully found Kristin Ess at Sephora. In the night: I use rinse off conditioner (other brand) followed by Kristin. Just a couple of sprays on hair ends. Using fingers to distribute and run any excess product through hair roots. Blow dry. Followed by hair serum/oil only on the ends. In the morning: few sprays only on hair ends to make it more manageable followed by a quick blow out. I find that the product makes my hair softer and more manageable. Though its supposed to be weightless i avoided spraying directly on hair roots to keep the top more voluminous. Highly recommend. Ps: the ingredients indicated on bottle states that it contains hydrolysed pea protein and not hydrolysed keratin as mentioned in app.

Forever favorite!

I never write reviews but i have to for this one! The scent to this product is my absolute favorite. I use this as a hair perfume and every time I let my hair down I get compliments on how good and fresh I smell. I wish they would make this scent into an actual hair perfume! But i'm totally happy with this leave in conditioner because it makes my hair super soft and shiny as well as smelling wonderful. If you like super fresh scents with a woody base or scent notes like ambroxan and ambrette then you would like the scent of this product. If you like Clean Reserve Radiant Nectar or God is a Woman perfume then you would enjoy this!

Not my favorite... theres much better out there

Almost used a whole bottle. Had this for about a year and other only things I’ve noticed it does is give my hair some shine and scent. I’m not even crazy about the smell I prefer my shampoo and conditioner over this. I bought it to give my hair some hydration and to help better brush my hair after my showers and it does NONE of that. This is like spraying scented WATER on your hair. I just recently bought the Raw Sugar miracle leave in conditioner and it’s the best at detangling and hydration!! Go buy that instead and not this junk. Don’t listen to the good reviews!!!!!

Revitalizing with a great scent

I was having the hardest time with my hair being crispy and full of split ends. I would use leave in conditioners twice a week and get regular hair cuts. I’d use a heat protectant spray before styling-which I’d only style maybe once a week. No matter what I did, my hair seemed dull and dead. This product has helped me so much. It smells so good, and I have gotten a LOT of compliments on my hair since I’ve been using it. I have medium-thickness hair. (Not thin, not thick) Typically, my hair gets greasy very easily. Avoid using this on your roots as much as your ends, and follow the strict instructions to use right out of the shower. Heck! Just keep it in the shower if you need to. Smells amazing and great for dry/tangled hair!

In my opinion, this smells fantastic! I have to spray quite a bit for the detangling to take effect, but I have pretty thick hair. My hair is fine and straight, and I've dyed it (it's fading now). I think this plus dry winter air has made my hair very tangly and dry, especially after sleeping and tying it up a lot during the day. After washing my hair, I spray liberally from midshaft and my ends, especially in the tangly parts. I let it sit for a couple minutes, then brush gently but enough to get the tangles out. Usually I just let it air dry, and it leaves my hair feeling a lot softer! Also, I love the smell! It smells good when I spray it initially, and the scent lasts on my hair for the next 2 days or so. decent product

I have been on the hunt for a decent leave in that doesn't break the bank. So far this stuff has been doing a decent job. I have long, fine textured, medium-high density hair and this stuff works decent for my hair. If you have. similar hair type it should work nice for you too. I dont think it has enough hydrating power for someone with courser hair or curly hair though. It makes it easier to brush through after a shower. I have fairly healthy/shiny hair to begin with so I wouldn't say my hair is noticeably more shiny since using this stuff. It doesn't smell terrible but the scent is quite strong.
