This silky and non-greasy cream answers the essential needs of normal to combination skin. Formulated with 98% natural origin ingredients and rich in shea butter (5%), the Light Comforting Cream answers the essential needs of normal to combination skin, including sensitive skin types. Lastingly moisturised (24h), skin is supple and soft. As protected against external aggressions, skin stays comfortable all day long. In Burkina Faso, women produce shea butter by hand. While one might expect this technique to weaken and damage the skin, in reality it leaves it incredibly soft. L'OCCITANE discovered that the shea butter produced in Burkina Faso using traditional methods is particularly rich in omega 6 and karitene. These molecules have exceptional properties and help to moisturise, nourish and give extra protection to the skin every day. Tolerance dermatologically tested. Non comedogenic.

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! Knowing they are a relatively small (compared to Sephora etc) Australian owned brand makes it even more impressive and I'm so happy (even excited) to know my money is going to a company that highly values its customers. ... MoreI've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

Lovely product BUT
15 January 2023

I finally splurged on this product. I love the texture and how it goes on the skin. I love the way it is immediately absorbed into skin. I LOVE the way my skin feels after I put this product on. Alas, I do NOT love how strong the fragrance is. NOT on my face. So I now use this cream as hand cream, which is a shame. Beware if you are sensitive to fragrance.

My skin likes it
25 July 2022

I have been using this cream for several years. My skin looks soft, clear, and fresh after application. It is a very light cream, it does not make skin saggy and heavy, and it absorbs very well. The fragrance added to the lotion is pleasant but a little bit stronger than I prefer, I wish it was more subtle; however, the positive effect of this cream overweights a fragrance smell.

Nothing else like it!
15 April 2023

This is my new obsession! Even though it is a light face cream, its hydrating properties have done wonders for my extremely dry skin. An added bonus is the heavenly fragrance; very soft, feminine and powdery. I apply it after cleansing, and it helps my makeup glide on smooth and flawless. It is worth every penny, and I can't live without it!

The best moisturiser I've used
24 January 2023

I have very sensitive skin and most moisturisers sting my skin. I tried this cream in store. This cream didn't make my skin sting at all which was a great start but and after just one use my skin looked noticeably more even in tone and much more hydrated. So much so that I felt I had to buy it despite not planning to. I have only been using this cream for a few days and I can't get over the fact that my skin is now soft like a baby and much more even in colour. I usually use quite cheap moisturisers.. but I didn't realise how much difference a good moisturiser can make. I don't think I can ever go back.

The best moisturiser for sensitive-reactive skin
15 September 2022

I have been using this moisturiser for over 3 years now. I have an extremely sensitive-reactive skin. I cannot speak highly enough and recommend it enough as a comforting moisturiser. I recently experienced a skin reaction to a sunscreen and was using another moisturiser (from a high-end brand). After using this cream, within 24 hours my skin was calmer and the burning subsided. In the night, I use it with the Immortelle reset serum. They are a powerful combo. After 1 week of using both, I didn't feel the need to wear any foundation. I don't write reviews unless I'm blown away by the results. Thanks Loccitane. Please don't change the formulation of this moisturiser.
