L'Occitane Shea Light Comforting Cream 50 ml

I received some of this as a Christmas gift from my sister. It's not something I would have chosen myself because of the scent. My skin is quite sensitive, so I worry about having a reaction to new products -- especially moisturizers -- but my skin seems to really likes this stuff.I'm 46, but I don't have dry skin or wrinkles. I don't need a heavy moisturizer. This stuff is perfect as a night cream. I think it would be a little much for a daytime moisturizer. I've been putting it on before bed after washing my face and using a toner. I wish it wasn't so heavily perfumed. I don't need perfume in a face cream. The scent dissipates quickly, however, and my skin feels very soft and hydrated when I wake up in the morning.

is the one. It is suuper smooth and leaves my face feeling baby soft. However, it doesn't leave it feeling oily or sticky at all. The formula feels lightweight and leaves my face feeling silky. The light signature L'Occitane scent is also very "comforting." It just feels luxurious and keeps my face from patching or feeling dry/tight throughout the day. I love this moisturizer and hope I can keep using it when the weather warms up! I bought this in mid-November for the colder weather and am SO glad I did. After 2 months of use (twice daily), there is still approximately half of the tub left.For reference: I have mostly dry skin that can get a little oily around the t-zone.

I discovered this product in a gift set I was given for Christmas and just had to buy the full size product. At $29 it is a great value for the quality and amount you get. It has a light, clean scent, doesn't leave my skin greasy, and absorbs quickly for an all day moisturized feeling. I have extremely sensitive skin that can get very, very dry, but heavy, moisturizers with any oil leave me broken out and flaky. This is the only one I have found that delivers the moisture my skin desperately needs and is light weight and made for my sensitive skin. It also helps my primers and makeup to keep from drying out and looking cakey or clown like. This is one product that I will continue yo keep in my skin care arsenal.

A treat to enjoy

Tried this when given a little sample tube and immediately ordered a jar. It is light and non greasy , feels lovely on the skin and it smells great. More expensive than I normally pay but decided to treat myself and will probably do so again in the future.

This is the first time I have tried this particular line of products . I fell in love with this product it is lightweight enough for every day use. I use it under my make up with no greasy or slick after effects . I have extremely sensitive skin, this was a perfect fit . Never caused me to have any itchy spots or hot spots on my face . As I just turned 50 I'm trying to find the right face cream. The only negative opinion I have is the scent. While it is not offensive at all, it's not something I care to smell on my face so heavily , it has a light baby powder scent. If that does not bother you, I would highly recommend it. if you have sensitive skin that has a tendency towards blotching this is a very good moisturizer. It absorbs beautifully in skin.

Good face cream if a little greasy

I'm a huge fan of the entire shea line of products. The Ultra-Rich Body Cream has been the best and quickest way to calm my itchy skin after showering.I like this cream as a facial moisturizer. It's smooth, and I love the fresh smell. The scent is a little powdery and makes me think of clean baby smell mixed with laundry fresh out of the dryer.A little goes a long way, and my skin becomes very oily if I use too much, which is easy to do. My T zone gets especially oily when I use this cream. However, I haven't experienced any acne. Not sticky or tacky.Overall, would recommend but use sparingly.

It gets the job done, but is a bit uncomfortable leaves the skin shiny and oil, the hair sticks to your face and absorbs the oil, it has to be stored at cold temperatures, protected from the light... etc, etc. Anyway, Ive received a sample of this moisturiser as a part of a gift travel set and decided to give it a go. Its absolutely wonderful very efficient, doesnt clog my pores at all which has always been an issue, doesnt irritate my skin, moisturises very well, overall a true gem. Not for everyone

Shea light comforting cream so as Shea Rich cream clogs my pores and gives me acne. I tried the rich cream first and it worked for a week, then I have noticed my pores. I switched to the Shea light comforting cream. After week or more using it i got acne all over my face in places I have never got acne before even when I was a teenager, spots like neck , chin ... I stopped using the cream. The acne started going away . 2 days ago overnight I applied it again just to see what happens . I woke up in the morning with fresh acne . Going to throw all the products away. Sad...

It's light, fluffy, non-greasy, and fast-absorbing! It's a miracle beyond miracles for hydration creams. Although many people state that it's gentle enough to use on their face, I reserve this for my dry hands and feet (further aggravated by constant handwashing in my line of work).
