The colour does look good, it took well and I had total coverage. I would recommend and will continue to use this product.

So I was using the shade 7 %26 1/2 A or 7.5A, whichever you want to call it, "Medium Ash Blonde" and I was wildly thrilled with the end result, color-wise, and it left a beautiful ash tone and any warmth/brassiness was almost entirely eradicated. Not to mention how CHEAP (inexpensive) this dye is! Wish I could have kept using it forever, tbh. But I was noticing every time after I would dye my hair using this product, I would get these weird, randomly placed greasy(?) or almost oily-ish blotches in my hair. I tried for the life of me to figure out if I was doing something wrong - maybe accidentally leaving conditioner in my hair somehow - I tried switching shampoos, using Dawn dish soap(!) on my hair for goodness sake, and NOTHING would resolve these odd 'greasy' ... They just had to kind of run their course, and in a month or so, they'd be gone again. And by then obviously, not long after, it was time for me to re-dye, and then the weird spots would show back up again in just weird random places. Maybe four or five places. Like one would be around my ear and I'd have one near the nape of my neck or at the crown of my head. I finally worked out that it had to be this dye causing this weird reaction for me and decided to switch brands and try to find something else. Since then, it's been fine and this issue hasn't returned for me. But I wanted to mention it here just because in case anyone else is having the same problem... idk, there is something in this dye that can somehow cause this to occur. :(

I started off with a level 8 dyed blonde hair, that turned a little brassy with time, and half an inch of level 6-7 light brown roots. My hair is a little over shoulder length, but fairly thin and one box was enough to cover them all.I applied the dye generously to the roots and set the timer to 20 mins once I finished application. Then I applied it to the lengths and kept it on for another 10 mins, following up with the shampoo and conditioner included. To my positive surprise, my roots blended completely and the condition of my hair improved, including my natural curl pattern. My scalp didn’t burn as it does with majority of the box dyes and my hair looks shiny and hydrated. In broad daylight, the final colour resembles the front picture, which is what I’d ... My scalp didn’t burn as it does with majority of the box dyes and my hair looks shiny and hydrated. In broad daylight, the final colour resembles the front picture, which is what I’d call pale gold.In artificial light, it looks warmer, towards strawberry blonde, but not as yellow/ginger. It doesn’t cover greys, but I don’t have that many and they’re not that noticeable on blonde hair anyways, so i’m happy with the result :)Can’t vouch for how long it would last, but since blonde dyes have smaller molecules than dark hair dyes, they are expected to escape hair shaft with washing, even in permanent dyes.Importantly, permanent hair dyes won’t lift the colour of any existing dye on your hair, so the chart at the back of the box is only accurate for virgin hair.If you have dark roots and another dye, the universal blonde will lift your roots, leaving the existing dye the same level, and at most might remove some brass. If your dye is lighter than the front picture, it might darken the colour to the level on the picture. If you have a darker hair dye, you’ll need to remove it first, for uniform result .

Excellence Crème Permanent Hair Dye - in Dark Brown. Packaging is good and I was pleased at the contents, which include the dye tube, the crème, a bottle of conditioner, but also shampoo and gloves. The instructions were straight forward and the product mixed well. It was easy to apply, and I particularly liked that the gloves were long so you did not get the dye on your wrists, which is a failure of other brands. It went on smoothly, and when I washed it off, my hair already felt silkier and nourished. The shampoo is great, works up a proper creamy lather, and I also used the conditioner, which left my hair feeling tangle free and smooth. The product has a strong ammonia smell. I took this to be a good sign that it was likely to dye my hair well, but if you are sensitive, be aware of it.
I received Excellence Crème 9 Natural Light Blonde Permanent Hair to dye my already blonde hair. It had been about two months since I gad last dyed my hair so grey was starting to show. Loved the added shampoo.
I colour my hair at home every 3-4 months to lighten and soften. I have a few trusted brands I cycle through depending on price and availability, and this is one of them - though this is my first time using one with a shampoo. The package contents were as expected and easy to prepare. The applicator comes with the usual nozzle, but also a comb attachment, which I chose to try this time. As I needed to focus on root application, the comb helped with dividing the hair and accuracy, but my hair does tend to thatch together when wet so there is some difficulty which I always expect. I have chin length hair and found one bottle to be the perfect amount. I massaged it into my lengths and left it to take effect for the recommended 20+10 minutes.I rinsed it off in the ... Colour: 3 Natural Darkest Brown on black brown hair with concentrated greys at front parting. Dyed full front of head.Prep & Application: Easy to put together. Comb attachment was good for applying. Helps to get to roots and apply faster. I sectioned hair to apply and used a brush to spread solution down the length. Theres no fragrance so has a chemical scent. It advised to leave on for 30 mins. I left on for just over 1 hour. The solution changed colour looking black rather than a dark brown. Washed off using supplied shampoo and conditioner and I could see brown colour wash away in the water.Result: Hair looks black rather than brown. Some hint of brown seen in the sun. Actually love the hair color, I've used the light auburn for years and years, but wanted a lighter shade now to help hide my silver regrowth better (and possibly start the slow transition to my natural silver, if I can stand it!). I prepped with a color remover, to strip the old darker color away, then followed the directions on the excellence box carefully. The resulting color is not as 'reddish' as the box shows, even though my old color was completely removed. I will use it a few more times and see if it improves, more towards the honey or strawberry blonde I am hoping to achieve. In the meantime, I don't hate it, and it should definitely cover the regrowth better than my previous go-to, the light auburn. But there has been a DEFINITE PROBLEM lately with the ... But there has been a DEFINITE PROBLEM lately with the tubes of conditioner---- when I open the box on the last couple of purchases, the conditioner tubes had SPLIT WIDE OPEN and were no good! Luckily, I had some from prior purchases, but I would appreciate it if those two split conditioner tubes could be replaced! You need to go back to the old tubes, the new ones are TERRIBLE. Thank you!
Unlike other hair dye kits this one comes with a Caring Scalp Shampoo which you use after washing out the dye. It removes excess residue and leaves the hair more receptive to the conditioning mask. I found that using the complete set left my hair feeling lighter and more smooth and shiny than the previous version. L'Oréal has long been my favourite and most trusted home hair colouring brand. Now this new triple care colour ritual has raised the bar again.I had a few issues with the thickness of the colour and developer mixture, as just over halfway through I could no longer squeeze it out directly onto the roots. I resorted to squeezing the last into my gloved palm to apply that way. I also don't get the comb attachment, never works for me and is just more random plastic waste. You can't get away from chemical odours when using any kit, but the addition of the post colour shampoo raises this kit heads above all others. The gentle scent reminded me of bubblegum, and this cut the odour off almost immediately. The lather was luxuriously thick and creamy. Wish I could use this ... As for the grey temples, you really have to look to notice.Winner!
