La Mer Creme De La Mer The Moisturizing Cream 30ml/1oz

I got this product in a Beauty Insider award with a few other products from Sephora. Not familiar with Lamer packaging or the product, other than it is quite expensive. I was a little caught off guard for the product to not have a seal or protective cover in between the lid and the cream, and then went on a Google image search to find out whether the trail size has a seal. The product also had and still has a hair in it that I tried getting outband is now deeper inside the product. Also saw on SEVERAL different forums that apparently people have been switching out the actual product for other creams such as a brand like . The forums say a giveaway is the scent. I recently started using tretinoin in my routine, and my combination skin became super dry as a result of it. Nothing would touch the flaky patches around my nose and temples until now! Yes, this product is expensive, and yes, it is thick - but if used as directed (ie warm it up between your fingertips first, and then pat it in), it is a lifesaver for dry skin. Additionally, fragrance usually irritates my sensitive skin, but this one doesn't. Honestly, don't knock it till you try it. I'm a La Mer believer now.

I honestly am looking through the low ratings and my mind is blown. I have NEVER a skincare product more important to my skin healing than Creme De La Mer. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? A hundred fold. I have EXTRWMELY sensitive skin with eczema and I can honestly tell you that this has SAVED MY SKIN. On a very rare occasion I don't get to my eczema quick enough and then it's my prescription is reach for. But if I could do a PR for these guys, I'd be thrilled. I can tell you this is the most I've been without makeup in forever. I am finally comfortable in my own skin. I won't be without.

The scent is pleasant; almost lemony and fresh. To me, this is for more mature skin (40+) when you start to see signs of aging like dullness, dryness, lack of radiance, fine lines and wrinkles. It's feels like a luxury cream as I work it In to my skin. It leaves my face feeling so hydrated and clean. Then you add the New Treatment lotion point to it skin.
