Overall, if you’re a fan of the brand, curious are able to purchase then I would recommend giving it a chance AFTER possibly first trying the La Mer Lip Balm which I prefer.

This lip gloss is pretty good and I have no issues with it, it's just the price that is not reasonable. In my opinion, it's not even that plumping and not good enough to be worth $90. But, other than the price, this is a great lip gloss that leaves my lips looking stunning. The product bottle is stunning as well. When I put it on, it tingles a little bit and plumps, without making me feel like my lips are burning off, which is great. It doesn't leave any red small rashes around my face like the Too Faced one does but still plumps almost the same as the Too Faced one. This is a high-quality and great product if you have the money. I would 100% give this product a 5 if it weren't for the price.

Head over heels for the Lip Volumizer Lip Serum. Have used the original (sheer) lip serum for years and when they introduced colors like pink and berry, just had to try. No doubt the favorites in my bag of lip glosses, serums, and balms! The Sheer Berry color is just the right amount of color to wear alone (like I don’t have to look in the mirror to apply, it’s fool proof) and it layers beautifully over any lipstick or gloss. Gives a little tingle for awhile, doing its thing. Never have had huge success with volumizer formulas (any brand) but I simply love the way this feels and nourishes. And this color will be flattering for all ages, all skin tones, all seasons, all occasions!!!!! Gotta try it! Don’t get just one!

La Mer The Lip Volumizer has become my go-to lip treatment. The formula is incredibly hydrating and gives my lips a subtle, natural plumpness. I love the glossy finish it provides without being sticky. The elegant packaging makes it a joy to use, and the pleasant, light fragrance is an added bonus. After just a few weeks, my lips feel smoother and look fuller. It’s definitely a luxury item, but the results make it worth every penny.
When I originally placed my order this was the item I was anticipating the most. As soon as my order arrived I ripped it open looking for the iconic green box and immediately put it on. I was seriously underwhelmed! Not only does it have no color but it also doesn’t last long. Legit have no idea why this is 90 dollars other than the fact that it’s La Mer. The Nyx duck lips for 14 dollars works much better and is less than half the price of this. Definitely disappointed. I will keep this product but I definitely won’t be re purchasing
I had high hopes for this product, and I'm a little let down. First of all, it's not much plumping. Adding some menthol into a lip product doesn't instantly mean it'll plump lips. However, it does moisturise amazingly! You can tell it does have the nourishing aspects which are listed. The packaging is beautiful, expensive, you get what you're paying for. I just wish it had done more for me with the plumping, and wasn't giving this "fresh" feeling, possibly from the menthol, not great for this time of year.
This is a really nice gloss, however, if you are after a major plumping gloss then this is not the one for you. It does have the slightest tingle but nothing you can't find with less expensive alternative. It is very hydrating on the lips which feels really nice, and it does layer well with other lip products like lip liners and lipsticks. If you are looking for a treat for yourself then I'd say go for it! However if your main goal is plumping then maybe search around.
I have long carried the original lip volumizer (clear) with me - it’s amazing! And when I saw La Mer introduce sheer colors I didn’t think twice! Started with sheer pink and absolutely LOVE it. Just the right (light) tint that’s perfect all year round but will especially be amazing for spring-summer. So easy to wear alone or over your favorite lip color. The formula is so nourishing - I think it does leave lips looking plump but more than anything, the gloss, the moisture, and the beautiful glow make this well worth the spend. Going to purchase the berry color next!!
I was skeptical about spending so much on a lip product - but this is truly a game changer. Non sticky, lovely feel, nice lightly sweet flavor - and typically that would be a no for me but this is perfect. Most of all it leaves my lips looking ten years younger. Plump, hydrated, revived. Addicted to this. And it is great as an overnight treatment. I use it in the morning and once before bed and then just regular chapstick with GREAT result.
It's expensive but worth it imo for a perfect lip product. Colours are so complimentary and the formula makes your lips look very healthy and smooth. Conditioning lip treatment wise it leaves your lips feeling hydrated and relieves any dryness or tightness. It's very comfortable to wear, tastes great (sweet and minty) and not sticky. The wand is very soft and it feels like a dream to apply.The 'volumising' is not a traditional plumper like you would think, it volumises in the way that it makes your lips look hydrated. Good for a natural or no makeup look.Overall it ticks every box for me in terms of being lovely to use, comfortable to wear and very pretty on the lips.
