Delicious pasta, retains it's shape. This was a delicious pasta and I was pleasantly surprised that it held its shape. Took a smidge longer to cook than other pasta's but follow the instructions and you'll be right and I think the longer time is due to the durum wheat/ thicker pasta. The pasta wasn't stodgy and cooked out deliciously soft and al dente. My LO is starting solids so I liked that he could just grip the pasta spiral and he too loved it!Competitively priced compared to other brands. The paper packaging felt premium and I would happily buy again.

Good quality pasta! If you want good quality pasta at a reasonable price, you should consider this brand. (Note it always goes on sale so just wait for those times to roll around and stock up). This brand has a very distinctive packaging so you can spot it easily. I actually really like the design of the packaging (including the font) because it gives off an authentic Italian vibe, which is in line with the origin of the product. The packaging includes a small window to show you exactly what you will be getting. My only suggestion is to have the recommended cook time in the same location of the cooking instructions (back of packaging, bottom right). We cooked this according to the instructions and the texture was perfect!!! Because of this sample, I tried a few ... MoreGood quality pasta! This pasta is slightly more expensive than other brands but it is worth the price.

Pretty good pasta. This was a good pasta. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s not a product of Australia (From Italy). But it’s everything you’d want in a pasta. Taste is as you’d expect. Texture is really good. would be perfect for a pasta salad as it keeps its shape even if a bit over cooked and refrigerated. I had leftovers the following day and there was no sogginess and it didn’t fall apart in any way. I had this simply - just boiled in water (no salt added), and I made a simple tomato based sauce with garlic, onion, capsicum and mushrooms. The shape of the pasta holds the sauce so you get a good bit of everything in a mouthful. I would buy again specifically for pasta salad or a cold pasta dish. My only issue is that it’s not ... MorePretty good pasta. This was a good pasta. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s not a product of Australia (From Italy). Our New Family Favourite. Our family were stuck in a pasta rut so it was lovely to receive this as a sample as it made us try a new brand of pasta altogether. The sample was very easy to locate on the middle shelf of the pasta section and it's attractive blue packaging made it stand out. I thought it was quite affordable at $2. 70 per packet and I liked the clear panel at the front as you could see what you were buying. I served it with my usual bolognese sauce and the 500g packet was the perfect amount for the four of us. It cooked within the recommended time of 11 minutes and the pasta was not soft or gluggy and had a lovely bite to it. My family all agreed that this pasta was the way to go from now on and I can happily say that we've purchased many packets every ... MoreOur New Family Favourite. Delicious Pasta. This is a 500g bag of La Molisana Fusilli No 28 pasta. Spiral Pasta as I like to call it. It is a Durum Wheat Semolina Pasta & is a Product of Italy. I have had this brand three times previously & it has become my favourite pasta. The price is $2. 80. A little more expensive than other brands but certainly reflects the quality & taste. I also love the packaging of this brand! I diced & browned off a chicken breast, added some pasta sauce, then put it on simmer until I cooked the pasta. It states on the bag the pasta cooks in 11 minutes although I always find I need to cook it for 20 minutes to be just how I like it. After it was cooked & drained I added it to the chicken & sauce & let it simmer for another 5 minutes. I mixed some Italian herbs into ... MoreDelicious Pasta. This pasta is delicious with a nice mouth feel. It holds it shape well, great texture & is soft & silky, not chewy & starchy like cheaper brands. This pasta is definitely a quality product & I would totally recommend it. Thank You for the sample.
Household favourite pasta. LOVE this brand of pasta. I think the additional coating on the pasta adds for a great starch to the sauce it’s been cooked it. It’s got an authentic Italian handmade pasta taste & we have only been buying these ever since we’ve tried it. Highly recommend trying it you haven’t already and for a great tip, add some of the boiled water it’s been cooked in into your creamy sauce for extra thickness. Works well with red sauce too.
A very good quality pasta. After trying the other types of pasta of the La Molisana range, I was thrilled to have this a a sample. Priced at $2. 80 for 500gm was ok for us, in order to have some good quality pasta from Italy The recommended cook time was spot on of 11 minutes, which is described on one side of the packet. It would be good if the Cook time was in the same spot on that back bottom right of the packet where the cooking instructions are. I like the fancy old style writing on the packaging, as it gives the feel you are going to get something special. I also like the fact it's a paper bag..... although it is coated with plastic inside, to maintain freshness and keep the bugs out. Plus you can see the pasta through the windows before purchase. There is a plastic sticky label to re seal your bag one open. . But there is no recycling information on the package. ♻️ I see there is a 3 year use by date from time of manufacturing. I picked up my sample almost a year from manufacturing, so if you buy these on special, and are not a big pasta eater like myself, you still know you got plenty of shelf time in your pantry. I added some Woolworths Basil pesto to the pasta as I needed to use it up. I would definitely purchase this type of twirly wirly pasta again, as the pasta sauce adheres to the twirl bits really well and each pasta piece is a good palatable size. ✅
Holds its shape. We usually do one pasta dinner a week in my household. So this is something we use a bit of. This pasta tasted much like any other wheat pasta I've had. The packaging is quite different to other products on the market so almost implies it is different... it really isn't. It did hold its shape super well though compared to my usual pastas. This is probably the only difference to what I would normally use, and at $2. 80/500g I probably wouldn't purchase it again. I personally don't see the value is spending almost 3 times what I normally pay, except for maybe if I was wanting to have a nicely presented pasta dish for guests.
Auds Pot Luck Pasta. I really like this Pasta. It is tasty and stays together. Other Brands unravel and you end up with bits of Pasta whereas this Pasta keeps it's shape, as seen in my photo. I decided to just take "Pot Luck" and make whatever came to mind, (no recipe). I first boiled the Pasta and put it into an oven dish. I then fried bacon, onion, 2 tomato's and mushrooms. Into that I added three eggs, just like that, into the pan and mixed them around and allowed the whole lot to fry. I put that on top of the pasta and topped it off with grated cheese and popped that in the oven for around 20 minutes and it was delicious! The price of this Pasta may be a bit more but the end result is worth it. I will definitely buy it again. Thank you.
