Holy moly. I have nothing but good things to say about this product. This is by far my favorite sunscreen. I play water polo and swim, meaning I’m in the sun constantly, and have NEVER been burned on my face while using this product. This product usually lasts me 3-6 months depending what season it is. I love this packaging because I can just throw it in my bag for the beach or something and count on it for not only, not spilling, but also not taking up a lot of space as well. I have never had a problem with this product even though I have sensitive skin. It is perfect for a natural makeup look, but also you can put this under your makeup as well without it peeling or getting in the way. I recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin who is always in the sun!

Okay buckle up because I am passionate about sunscreen so welcome to my TedTalk. I’ve been on a quest for the perfect sunscreen that not only protects but also enhances my skin’s appearance. Enter La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Tinted Sunscreen, a sunscreen that has seamlessly integrated into my daily routine and replaced my usual CC cream. Here’s why I’m hooked. Science-Backed Protection: This sunscreen is more than just a cosmetic; it’s a powerful shield against photoaging and skin cancer, two of my main concerns. The sunscreen covers both UVA and UVB rays (this is huge since many only cover one but not both rays). The sunscreen covers both UVA and UVB rays (this is huge since many only cover one but not both rays). UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin, contributing to aging and triggering conditions like melasma, which runs in my family. UVB rays, on the other hand, cause sunburn and play a key role in skin cancer. This sunscreen offers full-spectrum protection, meaning it safeguards my skin against these harmful effects, crucial for long-term skin health and clear skin appearance. What SPF 50 Means: SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, and SPF 50 means this sunscreen can theoretically block 98% of UVB rays. However, after talking with my dermatologist and reading up on some studies that show most people only apply about half the recommended amount of sunscreen, (let’s be honest if we did we would look like Casper the Ghost). Thus effectively lowering the protection to around SPF 25. That’s why starting with a high SPF like 50 is crucial—despite not applying it perfectly, I still get a robust level of protection. This is particularly important for someone like me who is vigilant about preventing photoaging, skin cancer, and managing melasma. Amazing Blend and Finish: The tinted formula is a blessing for those of us who prefer a bit of coverage with our sunscreen (🙋♀️). It blends effortlessly into my skin, leaving behind a lovely glow without the greasy residue I’ve experienced with other sunscreens. This product is lightweight, non-comedogenic, and doesn’t clog my pores, making it perfect for daily use. Very happy to report no angry breakouts from using this sunscreen. I no longer feel the need to apply additional CC cream; this does it all! Beyond protection, gives my face a radiant finish that I absolutely love. It’s tinted just enough to even out my skin tone and provide a natural, healthy glow. It’s like having a built-in highlighter that enhances my skin rather than masking it. TLDR: This sunscreen has truly revolutionized my skincare routine. It offers robust protection against both UVA and UVB rays, which is essential for preventing photoaging and skin cancer. Its mineral-based, silicate-infused formula blends beautifully, provides excellent coverage, and imparts a luminous finish. I can confidently say that La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Tinted Sunscreen is a must-have for anyone serious about their skin’s health and appearance. And if I haven’t done enough of a good job to convince you to religiously wear sunscreen maybe check out some pics on Google of postop Mohs surgery excisions.

This has been my favorite sunscreen for years! I will say I'm a very fair person, which seems to be a trend. They make a tinted version of this same sunscreen that was far too dark for me - might be worth looking into if you aren't light skinned! Mineral sunscreen is usually so thick and goopy, but this is thin and absorbs quickly. My skin burns when I sweat with chemical sunscreen on, unfortunately. It's also sensitive to drying ingredients but I've never had an issue here. I always put on a thin layer of my everyday CeraVe moisturizer on underneath. (This is just a sunscreen, not a moisturizer.)

Burned, so i had to wash it off. I use to use the tinted ine all the time. Bought this one at cvs because they sold out of the tinted one. To be fair, the tinted one would sting a little when first applied but it would go away. After a few uses of this one, it also stung a bit. I took a break from this one to try Kbeauty sunscreen. After about 2 weeks, i tried this one again and it burned. It began as a stinging sensation around my mouth and then it just full on burned. I had to wash it off completely and start my skincare regiment all over. Went back to using Kbeauty sunscreen. I thought mineral sunscreens were suppose to be better for sensative skin. I don't understand if the formula changed or what. Very dissapointed.
I love the consistency of this sunscreen. It's really thin and lightweight...and melts right into your skin, leaving a silky smooth finish and great pre-makeup base. There's also no hint of fragrance so you don't feel like you're supposed to be at the beach when wearing it.It's formulated for all skin types (including sensitive skin like mine) and doesn't cause any irritation or redness. It actually feels quite nice on the skin. The two active ingredients (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide) simply provide a barrier on the skin's surface that reflect the sun's damaging rays. There's also a tropical leaf extract included (senna alata) that acts as an antioxidant to help prevent premature aging from the sun.The only downside I would say I experienced with this product was the slight white cast it left on my skin. This is fairly common for mineral sunscreens but due to this, I've decided to limit my wear to days when I'm going to be outside and in direct sunlight. I have a pretty fair complexion as it is and don't need to be making myself any paler when I'm stuck inside most of the day, behind a computer. Perhaps if I wore heavier makeup, I wouldn't notice it as much but next time, I think I'll try the tinted version for everyday wear. With that said, I'm still very happy I own this and will use every last drop with summer around the corner.
This is the only face sunscreen that I can use without breakouts. The tint looks a bit too dark at first but it blends into my skin tone after a few minutes. What I like the most is I can ditch using a foundation especially in the summer. This sunscreen has awesome light coverage and finishes with a light glow to my aging skin. It also doesn't settle in fine lines either. If I'm wearing it as a foundation I apply a translucent loose powder to set. This small bottle also last a couple months with daily use even throughout the winter. That's value IMO.
It's okay. Definitely still a little bit of a white cast when you use the full 1/4 teaspoon amount for face, it lessens after it's "set" but still there. And I'm a very pale person. I find the white cast pretty annoying with blending it into my hairline, too--makes me look like I have gray hair. Also have found I have to be careful with which moisturizer I apply beforehand as I've had a lot of "pilling" happen with some combinations. Still, I like how matte the finish is and I think it would be a good option maybe for a very pale person who prefers to use a mineral product. It has that nice upside of a mineral sunscreen in that you can put it really close around your eyes and not feel any irritation!
La Roche-Posay sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program and I'm absolutely in love this mineral sunscreen. It's a great option for those with combo skin type. It's lightweight, very watery consistency and absorbs fairly quick. Spreads easily and you do not need a whole lot of product to cover your whole face and neck area. It does not leave your skin looking shiny and has no fragrance, oil, parabens making me appreciate this product even more.Sunscreens in general (even tinted ones) tend to break out my skin, but I have been using this product daily (once a day – not re-applying) for the past 7 days as a "primer" prior to applying foundation and I have yet experienced any issues with it. When I try a new product on my skin, I normally give it 7 days just to make sure I will have no issues or reaction, but when I do, it happens anytime during this timeframe.Mineral sunscreens are usually effective and normally safer than the chemical one because it contains both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, two powerful complexes that helps protect skin from free radicals cause by UV rays. Effective and safe. This product claims to be water resistant, which I didn't have the opportunity to test just yet due to weather where I live, but I can't wait to try during warmer months, and possible edit my review with my thoughts on it.I have olive tone skin, and this product does not leave any white residue or chalkiness. Been using as recommended: shaking well before use, applying 15 minutes before sun exposure (in my case, applying early in the morning before I leave for work) and avoiding eye area, cause you know – eyes. 😊 It has been working great to me! Worth the price and definitely recommend it!
I have mixed feelings about this sunscreen. While the packaging indicates that it is non-whitening and fast-absorbing, I had a noticeable white-cast on my light tan skin after application. This was particularly noticeable on my facial hair, making it obvious that I was wearing sunscreen. Although the white-cast eventually blended in after some effort, it was still an inconvenience. On the positive side, I appreciate that this sunscreen is in liquid form, making it easy to apply and it also has a high SPF of 50.As for whether I would buy this product, I'm still unsure. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! The perfect, bright colored and eye catching packaging tells you that the sun gives off 2 types of rays. UVB rays which are responsible for sunburn/tanning. UVA rays which cause skin aging and sun allergies. 🫢 Both rays have been proven to cause damage to skin cells, INCLUDING DNA, and weaken the immune system! And it provides protection from BOTH! Not just UVB like most sunscreens do.So first, I will start off by saying Thankyou LA ROCHE-POSAY for educating me, and most of all for making a product that provides UVA&UVB protection!Keep in mind, I use chemical peels every few days and the #1 thing is says is to wear sunscreen or stay out of sun completely, so I needed something that would do the job since I needed to work on my garden. I put on this product yesterday before I went outside and I was amazed when I came inside and there wasn't even a hint of any burn. And I am fair/pale skinned. I was even sweating and thought I had wiped it off while wiping the sweat off my face, but it really meant it when it said it was water resistant!!It didn't leave any white, annoying, greasy residue on my face either. Then this morning, before applying my makeup(I'm a makeup fanatic so a good base is a MUST), I put some of this product on and it was just so perfect and lightweight, so not only did it create such a smooth base for my makeup to glide on perfectly and easily with minimal effort, it didn't pill or give me any negative side effects and my makeup stayed on all day. I am so impressed, I love this stuff and I have already recommended it to a few of my family and friends!!! It also doesn't make me break out! Which is something I've battled in the past with other sunscreen products!Early skin aging due to sun exposure is a thing of the past, finally!
