La Roche Posay Lipikar Lait Urea 5+ Soothing Lotion 400ml

I was excited to give this La Roche-Posay lotion a try since it is effective for all skin types, but especially so for sensitive and extra dry skin. With key ingredients like 10% urea, shea butter and allantoin, it lightly exfoliates without damaging your skin barrier, helps soothe skin, and protects it from environmental irritants. The formula is a bit runny compared to typical lotions, but that lends it a certain lightness, and just one pump can spread pretty far. It takes some time to fully settle into the skin, however I only notice a light tacky feel for a couple of minutes before it feels silky smooth. It has a great cooling sensation when applied, too! Sometimes lotions are fragrance-free but they still smell a little funky just from the ingredient composition. This really doesn't smell like anything to me. This moisturizer actually rehydrated the scab on my arm! The scab was actually soft and pliable like it had been soaking in water for awhile. I immediately went back on Amazon and ordered the face cream and facial cleanser. I’m obsessed with this product! Never in my life has something worked so well on my horribly dry skin. My husband even said my skin looks so much better and it feels so soft. YAY!❤️ Pros: -Has No Scent-Scent Free -Does not irritate my very sensitive skin- no stinging or itching -Is not greasy or sticky ( feels like it could be greasy when first applied but it’s not) -Works amazingly well -Leaves skin soft, supple and hydrated -Large bottle of product -Excellent price point Cons: I can’t find any. Being unscented, it also does not clash with my perfume or his cologne. This lotion is very moisturizing. It reminds me of the consistency of some body butters. It is fairly thick and very slightly oily, but not enough to where you should worry about your clothes touching it. If you are worried, let it dry after you get out of the shower. After one use, our skin looked remarkably better, which is great, so that you get more immediate results, instead of having to wait for the product to eventually work after many times of use. I received this product form influenster in return for an honest review.I have tried many different body lotions that are supposed to smooth/exfoliate the skin. I have tiny bumps on my arms at times, but mostly I have an issue of dermatillomania, meaning I pick at my skin if there’s any bumps or unevenness, which creates scars and scabs, which I then in turn pick on. I have been using La Roche-Posay Lipikar Urea 10% lotion. I have extremely dry exema prone skin. It is the first time I have used the active ingredient that this lotion has and I was blown away. First time using it, I felt tingling that went away in a minute. This is something I experienced the first time I tried lactic acid, which is another favorite active I use. The tingling was more intense on my exema. The lotion absorbed quickly and left my skin so incredibly soft and smooth. After using the lotion on my excema for a couple of days, the skin was smoother and the patch seems to be disappearing and healing.
