Lancome La Vie Est Belle En Rose Eau De Toilette - 100ml

I have never come across a perfume I HATED until this one. Recently, I decided I wanted a new scent.. So.. I hustled over to Sephora, where I buy most all of my perfumes. I tried quite a few on little card strips that day. I should have slowed down and took my time in choosing. But this is the one I chose. Thinking back, i think I may have had the little cards confused🤷‍♀️.. I awoke the next morning and sprayed it on, quite heavily I might add, to work around the house. I am always over eager to enjoy a new perfume when i buy it. By the middle of the day, I developed a headache. I am not nor have I ever been sensitive to smells. The ROSE in this perfume is OBNOXIOUS, to put it mildly. I tried vigorously washing the areas I sprayed... Didnt work. The ROSE in this perfume is OBNOXIOUS, to put it mildly. I tried vigorously washing the areas I sprayed... Didnt work. I tried multiple ways to get it OFF... Which is why I am forced to give it 3 out of 5 stars. It most definitely has lasting power. No issues there. 🤣 I now avoid any perfumes with prominent rose in the notes. I returned it immediately. I wouldn't suggest purchasing this perfume if you don't like synthetic rose smells. Of course everything is subjective to personal preference.

La Vie Est Belle en Rose is a fruity floral fragrance. Top notes are Raspberry, Red Berries, Pink Pepper and Bergamot. The middle notes are Damask Rose, Rose, Peony and Lily-of-the-Valley. Base notes are Patchouli, Musk, iris and Sandalwood. This is a fresher more floral scent than the original. I adore the bottle it’s girlie and looks nice in any collection. This does have a weak projection and lacks in staying powder. Not overwhelming or sickly sweet. My first impression this smells like a mixture of flowers, juicy fruits, and honey but is also a bit powdery. The raspberry note seems the most potent on me as I’ve been told I smell like raspberries wearing it.

So beautiful! I know LVEB is a controversial one as far as how much it’s either loved or hated, but I just can’t imagine hating a beautiful gourmand fragrance, even if it is overused by many. This one does have the same DNA as the original, but, in my opinion, the addition of rose actually makes it a bit more interesting. It’s just as intense and sweet and maybe even heavy, like the original, but it is still beautiful and cozy, especially in the colder months. I would say this is the perfect beginning-of-the-fall kind of a fragrance. The projection is great. Longevity is to die for. While it’s not for everyone, it would be a great addition to most people’s collection. Just don’t overspray! I think overspraying could put most perfumes on the “not for me” list.

This is such a wonderful light scent. Whenever I wear it I get compliments. Since I often work in environment where people are sensitive to smells, both good and bad, it’s impressive to find one that literally everyone likes. This is one is gravitate to the most in spring and summer. Especially if you’re attending an outdoor event such as a wedding, but you can also literally wear it every day.

I bought this perfume on request for my mom because one of her coworkers had it on and she instantly fell in love with it. When the package arrived, I was quite surprised to see how large the perfume was, and we both loved the scent. It has a long lasting, soft, fruity scent that I couldn't stop smelling. Highly recommend for purchase, might even purchase one for myself.

I bought this gorgeous fragrance for an absolute steal, in Boots, before Christmas, along with 7 other fragrances. These included Hypnose and Miracle, which I used to wear when I was younger and still absolutely love.This is the most incredible fragrance, it’s fresh, the beautiful smell of rose is very present, almost like smelling it in the garden, when there is a gentle breeze.The complex undertones dance around your senses, then suddenly, the rose hits you again. I recently purchased this exquisite fragrance and so happy I gave it a try! From the time I was a child fragrance was something I was drawn to. So much so that in my teens earning my own money I amassed a rather large collection. Interestingly enough at such a young age I was attracted to many fragrances one would describe as classics. From the first spritz of La Vie Est Belle En Rose I was taken back in time to some of my first experiences with fragrance. In my opinion this fragrance is destined to become a timeless classic. Clean and refreshing are much too simple a way to speak of this lovely melodic, light as air beauty! A while ago I was contemplating getting either this or the original La Vie Est Belle but decided to go with the original. Fast forward a few weeks later and I made the decision to buy this and I will never regret it. The original is beautiful but this one has something else that just makes it extraordinary in my opinion. It’s definitely in the same field as it’s predecessor but the notes just give this fragrance a lot more complexity. The rose really stands out but isn’t overpowering and I think that the raspberry really helps make this a more youthful fragrance. Also, the peony isn’t very distinguishable in the beginning but starts to come through after maybe an hour and it adds more depth to everything.
