I tried this whilst on holiday for two weeks but unfortunately no one had it in stock. Would have loved to get a sample but again no stock.When I first sprayed it in the store I got the overwhelming scent of violets taking me back to my school days of eating palma violet sweets but as the day wore on the perfume changed notes. Fruity notes which reminded me of lovely fresh cherries and raspberries, cocoa butter and hot chocolate. It suppose to be a floral, fruity, gourmand scent designed. But I think it gets confused and can not decide if it is fruity, floral, wood or cured leather. I have a few Lancome La Vie Belle line bottles to compare. If you are fan of Lancome La Vie Belle line, this L'Elixir bottle may disappoint you. This floral fruity raspberry flavored liquor fragrance has zero connection to any La Vie Est Belle line, neither the original, nor any flanker. I like all of LVB line but I don't think I love this LVB L'Elixir but I dont hate. However it is not my daily wear bottle neither my occasional or casual wear bottle .
