The Lavazza Jolie plus milk coffee machine is a great coffee maker for those who enjoy barista style coffee but want to be able to recreate it right at home. The milk frother was also easy to use and created a nice froth for my coffee. My only issue was that it would only warm up the milk and it didn't make it hot which is what I prefer when I'm drinking coffee. The coffee machine is really easily to clean and I love the jet black colour and silver accents. It makes it look really modern and chic. The pods have just the right amount of coffee and it tastes really similar to the coffee I get when I'm out at a cafe. I just wish the pods were recyclable as this can create a lot of environmental waste which I do not like. Overall, I think it's a great and easy to use coffee machine. It doesn't take up too much room and it makes coffee really quickly!

Previously owned a cheaper Coffee Pod Machine which recently died. I have always loved Lavazza coffee, so I could not resist purchasing the all-in-one coffee machine. Easy to use, however do read the instructions regarding the lights and number of times to press which button, in particular the Milk Frother. Makes an excellent coffee and now I can make the perfect Latte with the best coffee!!!

It took me a moment or two to figure out that you lift the inner cardboard out of the box and it sort of "unfolds" or "unravels" to show you your coffee machine. Setup was very simple, basically just taking bits of plastic off and putting things in the right location. As for instructions there was a large booklet with all sorts of visual and text based instructions. --- Not that you will need it!Using the machine, it was pretty quick to fill up a cup with a precise espresso. The milk attachment was interesting. It is designed in a such a way to make very little noise. Having used mostly espresso machines I actually found that very amusing. Have liked the Lavazza pod choices so if your a fan of their coffee this is a logical choice. Build quality is solid. Happy so far, time will tell if it lasts just as long as my old Lavazza machine which got regular use.
Bought this for my husband for our anniversary and he loves it. Our Smeg espresso maker was too much fiddling for him, this is quick, gives great coffee & its nice and hot. Not luke warm like every Nespresso machine weve tried. Plus the milk frother works at the same time as your coffee brewing, so its quicker than other machines. It uses the Lavazza Modo Mio capsules, which are dearer, $10 for 16 on special or usually $13. But the coffee is fabulous & it has some strong options too.

I do recommend you read the manual beforehand because even though it's pretty simple, there are little things you don't want to miss.The manual does say to do a water run through once for the machine and once in the froth maker. I did the machine twice as I could still see little black bits coming through the water.I also did the water cleaning process in the froth machine twice to get rid of the plastic smell that new machines give off. Putting the pod in correctly wasn't hard seeing as though the hole on the top of the machine, has the shape of the pod.I didn't get much splatter with the coffee coming out, but it did leave a little drip at the end of the nozzle. So for an extra clean I ran a short shot, with no pod, after I was done making our coffees.In regards to the coffee pods, they were creamy and not bitter at all. Some pods out there that you buy can make the coffee taste almost off but these pods were lovely. And a bonus on top of that was that the coffee was hot. I honestly didn’t expect the coffee to be that hot so it was a lovely surprise.In the froth machine I used lactose free milk which doesn’t froth easy. To my surprise, it turned out thick and creamy. It wasn’t bubbly or airy it was pretty good.One last thing I wanted to add is that it’s a good machine to have, especially during lockdown, seeing as though you can buy the pods that are specifically made for it, from your local supermarkets.

Great little machine, bought to replace my Smeg machine, that was playing up. Very quick, because the milk frother is built in & works simultaneously with the coffee machine. Very fast, quiet & gives hot, delicious coffee. Easy clean too. 4 stars because pods are about $10 for 16, unless on special. Great quality though & great variety.
The best coffee I've had in a long time... even beats the cafes. Delicious espresso for cappuccinos, lattes, long blacks... and the Lavazza pods come in a huge range, so you have the variety to choose different strengths and flavours of coffee. My two favourites would have to be Delizioso and Dek Cremoso (Decaf).The machine itself is compact and user friendly, and the milk frother is a delight. Perfect froth for a cappuccino, even with low-fat milk. And whatever you choose, the coffee is piping hot... not the tepid stuff you get in a cafe.Strongly recommend this machine by Lavazza... the BEST coffee maker in the market by far!
