I was elated to find this product on sale. It may seem a lot of money to spend on a kettle but I do feel that it will last a lifetime, providing I look after it. It feels well made and works well. My only negative criticism would be the use of plastic for the handle and fittings. I assumed they would be wood considering the price and brand. The plastic does take away from the aesthetic somewhat. It is a very good, functional kettle however.

Wonderful kettle. The handle moves out the way so I can fill it with no issue from the faucet. The whistle is loud but not obnoxiously high pitched. I like the attention to detail where they placed a splash guard on the inside of the spout. Well worth the purchase!

Bought this when moving house as we didn't was to clutter up the counter with an electric kettle. It adds a nice splash of colour sitting on our hob.I've had no issues with manufacturing or operation after more than a month. It basically looks exactly like the picture. I'm using filtered water to avoid limescale buildup. My partner complains that it's a bit heavy but I see that as a mark of quality. If you're buying for anyone who is older or has tennis elbow maybe a lighter plastic electric kettle will do a better job.

I bought this in the black Friday sale. I had my last le cruset kettle approx 9 years but black bits had started to come off the inside. I Love the bright colour. I chose this due to it being cheaper than the black but its so cheerful I'm glad I didn't go black again. It is larger than I expected but I don't fill it full. The whistle has taken a couple of weeks to reach full whistle it did sound a bit feeble at first. It must need time to find its voice.. I'm thrilled with it
This is my 2nd Le Creuset whistling stovetop kettle, my first has lasted years being used multiple times a day. 100% recommend all Le Creuset kitchen ware items, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Absolutely love my kettle and looks so lovely out on display on my Rangemaster.
I installed a wood burner stove/oven. When I was young, we always had a kettle by coal fired range. With current energy price lunacy, it's time to resurrect the old ways.A proper kettle that does the job and looks the part. Harts of Stur a good website to navigate and a good company to deal with.
Looks great when new. I thought I'd have this kettle for years......maybe the last kettle I'd buy! Pretty soon, I managed to chip the enamel on the sink tap whilst filling. This was my own doing and but I'd expected it to be more robust given the manufacturer's reputation & the price. Next, the spring pin securing the whistle/cap came apart which I managed to fix. Now, a couple of years down the line it looks pretty tatty as its rusted on the body all around the circumference where the lid fits in. Maybe I should have dried it after every filling & boiling? I still think it's the funkiest kettle on the market but hoped its longevity lived up to its bold & robust design. If you're still in love with this beauty & determined to bring one home then keep the box & receipt.
Love itIt's made me lazy however and I'm not having my usual amount of tea just for the effort it takes to turn the stove on rather than click a buttonThat's my issue ! No faults with the product :)Although do remember to take the sticker off the side first. I didn't and I touched it while it was positively MELTING and nearly melted my own finger off. Lesson learned
Our son bought us one to go with our other Crueset products which we love. However within a year it started to rust. When we took it back as always understood Crueset had good warranty on their products we were told it did not guarantee their kettles at all. Extremely disappointed as it wasn't cheap by any means. Feel it is simply not fit for purpose - that is boiling water.
