I ordered a 4 1/2 quart Le Creuset soup pot in sea salt from the Williams Sonoma website. The description on the website said the interior would be tan. When I received the soup pot, the interior was black. I called customer service regarding the wrong color interior. I absolutley love this Le Creuset soup pot! It's a great size for everyday cooking. I am using it for everything. It heats so evenly, and holds temperature very well. I can move it from the stove top to the oven with ease. I have other cast iron pots, but this is the lightest with the most comfortable handles. It's so beautiful! I can cook and serve with it. It's fun to use and sits on an open shelf bringing color and beauty to my kitchen. I want another!

Bought this for my son's birthday present. Pleased with price, colour and next day delivery to mini Waitrose. A bit lighter than my age old Le Creusets and angle of base to surround a bit different. Son and girlfriend's eyes lit up. So happy! Sent me a picture of delicious rice dish next day. Let's hope it lasts thema lifetime

It's a lovely pot, perfectly suited for soup. It is not the best at browning meat, but that makes sense due to the rounded sides. I bought the agave color after originally wanting sea salt. From the reviews here it appears that the sea salt cover has a black enamel color, but the other colors have the sand interior, as expected. The agave color I purchased has sand interior. This 4.5 qt size is perfect and is 30cm which is the same width as the 5.5qt standard dutch oven and 10.25 inch skillet - this means the lid will work for any of these sizes if you want to use them interchangeably. I also purchased the 7.5 soup pot from another vendor but found it to be absurdly wide (32 cm) and hard to store, so chose to return it.

As the title suggests, my wife is very hard to buy for. So I thought I'd pop into John Lewis' to have a look. Cannot thank the shop assistant enough, she was really helpful and patient.The casserole dish is fabulous. We have a collection of Le Creuset pans which are really good, and this is no exception. Good to look at well made and versatile, cannot fault it. Very easy to clean. It is very heavy so be careful if lifting down from a high shelf.
Stunning Volcanic colour and great size. The sloping side of the pot make it convertible as a wok like a charm.I have the 28cm casserole cast iron and a shallow casserole so this is a great addition to my growing collection!!! Wish JL bring in the Cast Iron Sauteuse 24cm / 3.4L this is calling in high demand !!
I love this pot! This is the second one I’ve purchased. I am a little disappointed that the inside of the pot is black. The first one I purchased two years ago is white inside. I ordered the Sea Salt color and it arrived with a black interior. I brought it to a William Sonoma retail location and they were as surprised as I was. They took the pot back and ordered me a new one. The second one arrived and it is also black inside. The website shows a white interior. I kept this one and have used it several times. There doesn’t seem to be any difference between the white and black interior. Just don’t be shocked when your awesome pot arrives with a black interior.
After having my new kitchen done, I decided to treat myself to this beautiful pot. I am so impressed by how easy it was to make a meal in. Nothing stuck to the sides or base like my old pans. I used less oil and the food was amazing. Washing it afterwards was easy. Once it was cool I washed it with soapy water and the soft side of a sponge. Dried it and put away! I really shouldn't have waited so long to invest as I've thrown away pots that have started to wear, I can't see this ever happening with Le Creuset. Bought in the sale too!
