I ordered this twice and both arrived damaged (the second shipment in a million pieces!) and not in the original orange Le Creuset boxes.These were shipped from mall stores, likely floor models. So disappointed but went and ordered the olive branch version from QVC now. Good thing I gave myself plenty of time before giving as a gift!I will not purchase anything fragile or high end from Macys.com again after this. While the return process is easy, I really just want what I order to come in one piece to begin with.

I used this lovely cocotte during the holiday season for baked Brie. Keeping the lid on helped keep the Brie warm and creamy. I topped it with hot honey and pecans. I wish that there were more recipes for this specific size of cocotte (24 ounces) either here or via other sources. I have done an extensive search and found very few.

So glad they made a mini version with the star knob. My white one arrive perfectly fine, in le creuset box, just waiting on the red which I hope arrives soon. Happy to have part of this holiday’s collection.

This is the perfect size for a nice dip or small portion of a side dish, like fresh cranberries. The design and star handle are beautiful.
