Le Labo Hand Soap 250ml

Setting: 2018, driving in my car after leaving a restaurant. Suddenly, I must call them. I can’t help myself. I have to know WHAT SOAP DID THEY STOCK IN THEIR BATHROOM?! It’s this. This is the most wonderful, enchanting smell I’ve ever encountered in my life. Everyone who washes their hands at my house comments on it. I wish they made it as a laundry detergent. I don’t think the body wash is as good but it’s close. The lotion was a big miss for me. But this soap is one simple joy I get every single day. PLEASE LE LABO make it as a detergent and a fragrance. Or just build a house out of it so I can live inside it forever. Oh - also the shampoo conditioner also smells great.

As far as handsoap goes, this one is brilliant

I love Le Labo products, and this is no exception. The hand soap is beautifully scented, with basil smelling of green and aromatic notes. The soap itself feels quite nourishing on the skin.

Fantastic fragrance beautiful soap

I bought the Hinoki fragrance and the smell is divine! Such a beautiful soap. Four starts instead of five because is half the size of my beloved Aesop and it could lather a tad more. However, the fragrance stays for a while. Such a beautiful scent.

Finally!

I’ve been using Aēsop’s hand wash and soap for years, including their low-foaming Rose body wash recommended for frequent hand washers like myself. Sure, it wasn’t as drying as their regular hand soap. But it also didn’t have much of a scent. Then I saw THIS GEM!I adore Le Labo’s scents and use many of their body products, candles, and parfum. I had to give this a try! Omg. Where has this been all my life? The Hinoki scent is gender neutral and the scent has lovely woodsy and beach notes. In fact, the scent is so incredible I find myself smelling my hands! It also fills my bathrooms with the scent which is a major bonus. The soap is also moisturizing! Luxourious Hands

I purchased this for myself as a "New Flat" treat, along with the handsoap (both scents in Hinoki) and omg, it's worth the price tag. As a Le Labo fan, I personally think the price is reasonable but I can understand the slight gasp some people give when buying expensive hand creams and soaps (I used to be one of them) They're worth it. The soap is a thicker gel, you need about half a pump or less for a good lather and hand wash and the scent is hypnotizing and stays on the hands for a really long time, to the point I washed my hands before going to bed one evening and I could smell my hands while trying to fall asleep! Mostly composed of fragrance, this is overwhelming

Using this hand soap makes me feel slightly sick because the smell is absolutely overpowering. I try my best to use just a tiny drop in my own home restroom because the smell is like a smoky men’s fragrance more than a pleasant, light soap smell. The smell lingers on the hands for a very long time making me feel like I need to wash my hands from washing my hands. It’s especially tough to eat after washing my hands with this soap because it overwhelms everything. I also purchased the hand cream and just feel sick using it which is a shame. I’m considering “watering” it down with a neutral hand soap that doesn’t have a scent so I can stand to use this.

Not Too Strong at ALL

I went through about 7 hand soaps before finding this one. Many were really watery, too thick or just didn't have a great smell. This one fits right in my niche. It has a great consistency to it, it gets hands clean without drying them out and the scent is great. I read the reviews about the scent and I must disagree. The scent is light and smells kind of ....sage-y. I love the scent and don't find it masculine. It's not flowery, for sure, but it's a deep herbal scent. I will by this again and definitely recommend giving it a try. Le Labo is slowly becoming one of my favorite vendors!

Obsessed

I first used this hand soap at Honto, a restaurant in Brisbane and was so obsessed, I could still smell it on my hands for a long time after I got back to the table. I loved it so much I emailed the restaurant to ask what scent it was (a bit embarrassing but apparently I wasn’t the first to ask!). The smell is so intoxicating, the consistency feels high end like Aesop and a little goes a long way. The packaging is a little underwhelming, it’s doesn’t look particularly luxurious and the pump is a bit stiff, but I saw someone say it’s more of a “if you know, you know”, and I agree with that. I love having something a little different to Aesop and will definitely repurchase, though I wish Mecca stocked the 500ml size.

Smells gorgeous, looks great but not sure how well it does the job

Smells amazing and the smell lasts on your hands. A nice aesthetic to the bathroom. Doesn’t bubble up much so I don’t know how much it actually cleans your hands and it’s quite expensive.

Smells so good

The scent is strong but so beautiful, I get so many positive comments about it from guests. I’ve tried both scents and Hinoki is definitely more fresh and pleasant. Also a little goes a long way so it lasts pretty well! It’s a splurge but worth it for me.
