Leatherman Skeletool KBX Knife (Coyote Tan)

super light weight and easy to have at hand, great for salami (and in our case for cutting dog roll when out with the mutts). You just have to make sure you clean out the holes in the blade after use.

The only good thing about this knife is it's small size and light weight, which could be just what you want. I thought I did but it's not what I need. My two complaints are that I continually catch my fingers on the bottle opener when I try to draw it from my pocket and that it is a pain to close. My Smith & Wesson HRT knife is my favorite and I was looking from something a little smaller for carrying all the time but this knife is not the one for me.

Basically the knife from the Seletool, this is an excellent blade, extremely sharp as delivered and quite handy. paradoxically, it is somewhat more difficult to open when on its own than when attached to the Skeletool, but is is a very nice implement when on its own.I do take off one star because there is no obvious way to attach a key ring, despite all its holes. I am contemplating detachment of the clip, since that adds significant bulk to a knife whose principal virtue is its small, compact size.The knife is almost too small for my average, adult size hands. It would probably be perfect in somewhat smaller hands.All in all, I like this a lot.
