LEGO - 75299 Star Wars Trouble On Tatooine

This was a fun little set to get. The new Mandalorian figure is amazing, with very detailed arm printing and high quality overall. I would've liked to see his jetpack in this set though, along with an actual printed face and hair piece since this set is meant to be analogous to episode 1 of season 2, and we saw Din without his helmet in the season 1 finale. The Tusken Raider looks good, and I like the detailed mold. I also like that the set came with a carrier for the Child. This set took a lot longer for me to build than it normally would since I made it as a stop motion video, but the build was still an enjoyable experience. I do enjoy this set, but I think for it to really be worth the price, it should've included the jetpack and face.

I bought this set when it was on sale for the main reason of getting the Grogu minifig without having to spend a lot of money on the Razorcrest. I’m also a sucker for the speeder bikes so I mainly got this set for the Grogu minifig and Din’s speeded bike. I built the hut and now type weapon that also come with the set, but they were super lackluster. I found, and recommend if you get this set, to use the alternative build of a Tusken Raider speederbike, instead of the hut and bow. The instructions can be found online with a simple search.

Over all a good set for the price point considering what you get. First and foremost is Mando in his new bezoar armor! This is probably why you got this set in the first place and you won't be dissapointed, especially since it comes with some great arm printing. That's a premium feature usually reserved for UCS sets so that one minifig will sell a lot of these sets. Likewise, Baby Yoda is very well done and a must have if you don't already have a set with that figure in it yet. The speeder bike they ride on is a good one especially the little satchel for Baby Yoda! The Tuscan figure and camp are nice additions for either playability for the set itself, or for integration into a collection.
