I definitely will recommend to own this set because it is so joyful to play with. I spent hours building this set and had lots of fun throughout the whole time. I am combining this with the Dumbledore's Office and will continue getting the other sets to finish my HP collections.

My daughter absolutely loves Harry Potter and was delighted when she saw this lego set. It has lots of characters included which is a massive bonus.The kit is designed for age 9+ but my 7 year old is a massive Lego buff and managed to complete most of the kit by herself. I got this set for my 12th birthday and I was very pleased with it.I was so happy with this Harry Potter set! I loved all of the details in the defense against the dark arts room, but the seating in the great hall wasn’t that good. I loved the glow in the dark nearly headless nick! I also didn’t like how professor sinistral barely had any room to look into the telescope! Overall, it’s a great set

My son loves this Harry Potter Lego set. His favorite parts are all the secret door and actions in the castle. He loves putting the snake through the hole. He uses the snake with all his other Lego sets as well.
My child had the best time putting it together and it was amazing when you look at the detail. Lego had thought of everything. There were 9 bags in total - yes as someone in the family said you need planning permission before starting on that project. But at the end of each bag you would have a small model set to play with, if you wish to leave the other bags aside for another day.
I received a fraudulent product. I received the item on the left, but was expecting the item on the right. What I received was not even LEGO brand! It looked identical the the LEGO Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets box, however NOWHERE on the box did it say Lego brand! Where the LEGO logo was it said “Magic Castle” - this was my first inkling it was a fraudulent product. I am NOT happy that Walmart allow dupes to be sold like this! My son would have noticed it was not Lego, and been disappointed! This is far too expensive to not be the real thing! Returning and buying elsewhere.
Hours of fun but not cheap. Beautifully designed and well packaged with good easy to follow instructions. Looks brilliant when finished. A lovely way to spend time with the younger ones
Arrived quickly, even though no box it was packaged well. Entertained the kids for hours assembling it following the step by step instructions. Other Harry Potter Lego sets attach to it, there are secret doors, lots of characters you cant get elsewhere. A very good addition to the Harry Potter Lego series, lots of fun and fuels the imagination.

The only problem with the minifigs is that the younger ones are very plain, especially put against the elaborate Dumbledore and Nearly Headless Nick.The main build itself is fine, taking a couple of hours with about 1000 pieces. The exterior is very detailed and elaborate, making a great showpiece. The Interior at times has parts that when constantly taking in and out can be annoying to put back in the right spot. Overall, it has enough playability and displayability to be worth it.This set has also lasted (Again, coming from a 14yr old collector who has had this set for a year). Although you need patience to put it together the first time, what makes this set nice is that it is easy to put back together if you drop it or something.This set is a good set, but I dropped a star because of the Chamber of Secrets entrance thingie. It is worth it though, and I would recommend this set to someone tipping on the verge of buying or not.
This was a joy to build. Designed for children but interesting for the more grown up Legoist as well, this Harry Potter set has a lot of variety, Building elements can be moved around for different play scenarios, a good number of mini figures and collectibles, the castle themed set is very decorative with its natural colour scheme and many turrets and two owls as well. It also links up with other Harry Potter sets, got this very popular set while on special offer from John Lewis for an excellent price together. Excellent service and quick delivery as well
