We gifted this set to our daughter when she was 5 and has been her ever favorite Lego set. She still loves it now that she’s 10 and still plays with it with her little cousins when they come over. Recommend it 100%.

This train set works so well & can easily be assembled & run by my 3 year old grandaughter. It stays on the track & even shuts itself off if she moves on to another activity. You definitely want to purchase additional track for more fun. Works well around Christmas tree

We were delighted therefore to be able to find a train in very good condition and extra track to add to our much loved current layout. Our two grandchildren (2&4) both love the engines (on and off track) and they now have one each to pull loads along our extended rail network.

This train set works so well & can easily be assembled & run by my 3 year old grandaughter. It stays on the track & even shuts itself off if she moves on to another activity. You definitely want to purchase additional track for more fun. Works well around Christmas tree

Bought this for a birthday gift for soon to be 5 year old. He plays the train game on his iPad and kept saying that he would like that. His birthday isn't until the middle of October, but bought it early so I wouldn't be rushing around. I also bought the extra track kit, but bought that from a different store since they had a better price. So this soon to be 5 year old is going to have lots of fun.
My little girl loved this set. Firstly she gets to build it the way she wants it encouraging fine motor skills. Then she watches it for hours as it chuggs round the rest of her duplo buildings. Fantastic value.
Great product! My son got it for his 3rd Birthday and loves it. I was very impressed that the train turns off automatically after a few minutes. That is a great battery saver for when small children leave it on and move on to something else.
I put the train together and put I in the track, it doesnt run enough to climb my bridges. I have two other train set, they dont climb either. I Purchased this item only to get a NEW train that works, Im really disappointed!
My 4 yr old quickly got the hang of putting the track and train together, but has many other Duplo sets. The train has great sound effects and really works well considering it's 3 AA batteries. The train works on and off the track on hardship surfaces and pulls it's one car well. I like the other odd pieces too and feel that this is a nice mix and match set. I was obviously impressed with this set and my children love it. I am looking forward too receiving more track to extend this small loop. :)
I have purchased lots of duplo train sets. This is the best one. My grandson has had lots of fun with it. The other day we had his friend over and both wanted the battery powered engine. Needless to say I wish I had bought two of them. The non-battery powered ones are probably better the younger they are but he is 4 now and loves to send it all over the house building tracks around the furniture. The duplo tracks are excellent in helping a child engineer different projects.
Great toy! Children love it! The other Duplo pieces can be used with it. Very happy with this product. A wonderful purchase!
