I have to be honest - I usually use Moleskine notebooks for my bullet journals but since they are a tad bit pricy, I tried thse Leuchtturm dot journals. They are pretty good quality - but I think that they're a little bit lacking in paper quality in terms of bleed through and thickness? I've never had an issue with my Staedtler Fineliners bleeding through my Moleskine pages and I did notice some slight bleed through with these ones! Buuuut, I will say - I think this is a great starter journal for people new to bullet journaling!

I didn't realize that I never wrote a review for this notebook, and that's a dang shame. Let me rectify that right now. It's been a while since I've gotten this book (almost a year), and when I took the book out of its plastic packaging, it looked like new.If you're someone who likes a pocket sized travel notebook to write on the go, this is the journal for you. It's hard to visualize what an A6 looks like in regards to a A5, but suffice to say, it fits nicely in pockets. If you're someone who wears a uniform with button down front pockets (like for a security guard or law enforcement, etc.), or if you wear uniformed cargo shorts or uniformed cargo pants, you can easily stash this notebook in the pockets. It survived drops, falls, and being constantly opened and closed. I used a regular store pen with this notebook, and it worked really well. I was able to use the band surrounding the notebook to hold both the pen and the notebook in case I had to write stuff down. I liked that the pages were numbered, and there's a significant amount of room to write things. While doing the job, I had to write down so much information, to the point where this notebook ended up being my job diary. Over the course of about 6 months, I wrote in it every time I had to go to work. At the end of my job, I ended up using the entire journal. This journal was nice too because I was able to keep all the loose papers given to me in the handy pocket located in the back. It was nice to have all of the information related to my job at my fingertips. If you're someone that likes to write a lot though, this notebook might not be for you. Due to the A6 size, it is pocket size, but it also has significantly less pages than a traditional Lechtturm 1917 A5 journal. If you prefer to collect items and use your journal as a scrapbook, this journal is also not for you, since if it holds anything besides papers, it can get pretty bulky. In my opinion, this journal is good for taking quick notes/quick sketches, and holds up well for everyday use.All in all, this was a perfect pocket journal. I would highly suggest getting this journal if you need a journal that can easily be stashed away, a journal for quick notes, and a durable journal. If I ever needed this journal for another job, I would order this again.

Excellent functionality, size, and paper quality. For me this is the perfect balance between having enough pages (120) but still being pocket-friendly, and per page cost is far superior to the 60 page version. I tried the EcoQua by Fabriano and various Field Notes before landing on this one; by far the best quality for the price for my needs, primarily bullet journal that goes everywhere with me. I use this with both gel pens and Lamy Safari (fine point) with good results.

This is AS Cute as it can get ...... A Baby version of my A5 Notebook.....is the little A7.... How magical it is.......ALL the great understated features of its BIG BROTHER, notebook but the size of a credit card it isGreat to fit in your pocket for making notes and bringing them home to expand on. Once again, plain colour cover. Beautiful paper. Numbered pages A handy little file inside the back cover.and an elastic band to keep it tidy. mMMMm!! Once you hold it .......you see .....it really doesn't need a picture on the cover. I LOVE IT.
This is my second Leuchtturm. After using Molskin for many years I tried one of these in a bigger size and I loved it. The functionality is so much better. The back pocket, the band to keep it closed, two page marking ribbons, and you can buy a stick on pen holder. Sold. The A6 is the perfect size to carry in the back pocket of your jeans. I will continue to purchase these as needed.
Have used this brand for years. Excellent quality. I use Sharpie Marker Pens and they do not bleed through if I'm writing or doodling. The index in the front allows you to easily find anything. It's classic look demonstrates professionalism when you are using them and they are durable. There are similar cheaper, but similar hasn't proved worth it when I have tried them. .
This is the perfect size, paperweight and layout Sketchbook that I've ever found. In my practice I go through a sketchbook about every two months with multiple media. These pages can take permanent marker, watercolor, pencil pen and stickers beautifully. It is just a perfect size that I keep it with me wherever I go tucked behind the small of my back like a secret weapon.
