I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this machine. Seriously the laundry is coming out of the machine in a worse condition that it went in.I have dress pants for my husband, who works in an office, so they are pretty clean going in, I do not wash them with any other garments, yet they come out covered in lint.I have noted from the previous 1 star review 3 years ago, customer support was going to provide feedback to the products team. Purchased in March 2021, so had it 2 years with 2-5 loads per week. Mostly love this model, especially its size and the quality of the motor and stainless steel drum. I appreciate that this model has a self clean, and is generally easy to keep clean - the front control panel is a single piece design, and the interior drum has only a couple of plastic components. Negatives we have encountered:1. I would like longer/more forceful spray rinses. A strong spray that hits fabric during spinning is the best way I've found to get things really clean and rinsed. Only owned for a few days, so far we have done about 5 loads of washing and tried various modes.I did have a number of issues getting it connected to my router. 3 different phones (Android and Apple), I eventually connected to a hotspot. After I did that the first time, it then connected to my router! Go figure!Still trying to understand the Vapour mode and other modes. I feel the user manual isn't that good at explanations. So I found a similar model user guide with similar modes, and their explanation is much better for some strange reason (e.g. one example I found out you can't SOAK in Stain Care mode) This is just one example of many that I found answers too, in another models user guide! I set the water level I want anyway, and generally choose 4 and up. Why would you want to go lower with such a big machine!So far, seems to be working ok. Hope it continues.

This is an amazing machine that has the ability to save lots of water. I see some people are using it incorrectly causing lint. This is not an old fashioned washer that filled up with water to wash. It uses very little water on some cycles and with agitation this can cause lint to appear. Each cycle has how much agitation and how much water is used on the app. (Yes boomer download the app) If you get lint try increasing the water level or cheat by choosing extra rinse. I assure you any claims of lint are due to user error, as it has happened to me once as well. The only difference is I took the time to do research and understand the product. You can choose to fill it up with water if you miss your old washing machine.
I really love this machine, but the only thing I find frustrating is the Water Sensor, which is never correct. It seems to always sensor to number 1 (smallest load), whether there is a small load or a larger load, which means I have to either pause and change (or forgot) and the clothes are not washed properly, or as they suggest put the load onto extra rinse, which means I have to change how long it rinses for, which in my mind defeats the purpose of having a machine with a loader sensor.I have had LG's for quite a few years, and they all seem to have the same issue, but I keep going back. Maybe I'm the fool
Have used the LG model WTG1434WHF machine four times now. It washes clothes well.However, distributing the clothes in the wash tub is a continual problem. I find that I need to re-distribute the clothes at least twice during the Wash/Spin and Spin cycles. When the spin first starts up the wash tub bangs against the side of the machine wall panels every time. I distribute the clothes as evenly as possible when loading the machine, but the clothes become quite tangled during the wash cycles and self-re-distribute unevenly, which causes the out-of-balance to occur. During my last wash the machine started “walking” across the floor, with the tub banging against the machine side panels quite loudly. The automatic cut-out did not engage.Functions I miss from my old washing machine include the ability to save a personalised program and to incrementally step forward the Wash and Spin programs. You can only step forward the LG machine from one complete process to another and I need to modify a standard LG program to suit my needs every time I use the machine. Incremental stepping forward a program became an issue the first time I had to re-distribute the washing due to an out-of-balance occurrence. I leaned over the front of the machine to re-arrange the clothes in the tub and I accidentally reset the wash function. This meant that I had to re-start the machine from the beginning of the cycle the machine had been in, which meant extra wash time and extra water used. I now lean over the side of the machine.Each wash now takes over twice as long to complete compared to my old machine.Because of the continual out-of-balance issues I cannot leave the machine unattended, whereas with my old machine I could turn it on and leave it unattended until finished.So, overall, I am not particularly happy with this new machine.
I've had this machine this machine for 3yrs not and has stopped on me 3 times every time get a oe code. For draining fault check the drains and pumps everything g clear call up customer service team tell me to check. As per there instructions all clear, technician comes out they plug it back in works fine. Now the 3rd time they telling g me they want charge me for someone to come out. Not recommended at all.
I've owned LG top loaders for 20 years and decided to upgrade my perfectly working8.5 kilo LG for a larger machine, the LG 14kg. Biggest mistake ever. All washing covered in lint despite their "inbuilt lint filters" and after contacting LG to complain was sent an email on how to use the machine correctly. I have been washing 40 years and was already implementing all their suggestions! We are a retired couple so the machine isn't overworked or overloaded, and the only reason for upgrading to a larger machine was to wash our king size bedding. . As if the permanent lint on everything isnt bad enough, the monthly required "tub clean" lasts 3 HOURS. LG response, the machine is working and fulfilling its warranty requirements, they wont do anything! I got this washing machine 1 year ago, within one month it broke down, we had it fixed but apparently that was covered by warranty, and we are yet to here back from LG! terrible service. wont be buying an LG product again. I don't know how a $1,400 washing machine can break after a month and be our fault. we are so disappointed in the kack of communication from LG
