Good monitor.. but no inbuilt speaker

Decent image (There's little I run on higher than 1080p anyway..), good frame rate (good on games such as Trackmania) - just beware that it doesn't mention/have inbuilt speakers. Does have 3.5mm jack for speakers, just need to buy the speakers separate.

Great Size, Beautiful Graphics and Amazing Quality

LG UltraGear monitor Review
10 January 2023

This LG UltraGear 32GN50R is a very nice and sleek monitor, I love the look the finish and the 32 inch screen. I always used a tv for gaming and this is the first to time I have used a gaming monitor and by far I am very impressed with the specs of this monitor. The setup from the box was very easy and quick and simple. the clear picture due to the HDR and the movement is very smooth with the 165 Hz, 1ms HBR. The monitor has a HMDI and DP-in connection along with H/P Jack, the stand of the monitor is a nice touch also giving a great presentation of it stance, it’s also can tilt forward or back to your liking. Underneath the monitor has a joystick button to help access the menu to further set up the features, such as screen brightness and gaming modes, the joystick ... MoreThis LG UltraGear 32GN50R is a very nice and sleek monitor, I love the look the finish and the 32 inch screen. Underneath the monitor has a joystick button to help access the menu to further set up the features, such as screen brightness and gaming modes, the joystick button operates very well and have no issues with moving through the menu. The only two downsides to the monitor I have is that, it doesn’t not have any speakers but does have a hookup to add speaker or LG UltraGear channel Bluetooth gaming speaker that has the perfect space underneath the monitor itself, which will be something I buy in the near future to complete its look and last downside is the it does not have a adjustment to raise or lower the monitor, but for the stance and height is already great. Overall I’m very pleased with the LG gaming monitor and glad I finally took the step to buying the gaming monitor and will not be playing on a tv again, due to finally seeing the differences between gaming on a tv vs gaming on monitor. I can’t wait to share my experience with my other gaming buddies that are stuck in between buying a gaming monitor or tv and I would highly suggest this LG UltraGear 32GN50R to them, can’t wait to explore more with this monitor and looking for the future of LG gaming monitors. Maybe my favorite gift yet!!!
19 January 2023

My wife recently purchased this LG Ultragear 32 inch monitor for me for Christmas. I replaced my 2 year old curved 32” with it. Although they are similar in specs, the old monitor didn’t have the HDR that this one has. Since installing it, I’ve played Black Mesa, Diablo 2 Resurrected and Counterstrike Global Offensive to see amazing picture quality. I’ve even noticed it when playing older classics like Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead and Unreal Tournament. After playing around with the settings, I changed the brightness to the point where my eyes couldn’t take how bright the colors were. I’ve never been able to see all the details in these games before so it was pretty awesome to see the games look livelier and more colorful. I liked being able to play with settings on ... MoreMy wife recently purchased this LG Ultragear 32 inch monitor for me for Christmas. I replaced my 2 year old curved 32” with it. I’m so glad I got this as a gift and would recommend it to any gamer that currently doesn’t have HDR and doesn’t mind 1080p! The attached photos do it no justice! This thing Rocks!!!

Surprisingly good FHD Monitor!
10 January 2023

I recently purchased this LG Ultragear 32 inch monitor as a gift for my husband. It replaced his curved 32 inch monitor from a competitor of LG. This new monitor has almost identical specs but I really wanted him to try out the HDR this one had. I can't believe how clear the image is or how bright and vibrant the colors are for a 1080p (not 2k or 4k) monitor. We play games most nights together on our gaming PCs. This monitor looks amazing for the games that support HDR that I have never before seen displayed. The 165hz refresh also leaves no signs of lag or tearing. Hubby says the loss of a curved display to have the level of clarity, color and no lag that this monitor was is well worth it! It made for a great gift!
