It seems to me the the ring that the turntable sits on is wron I have used microwaves for about 40 years no problem. This turntable only has a couple of little wheels the other are just small rigid squares of plastic. Also the cream plastic tabs in centre dont engage with base of turntable properly. No matter what I do turntable skids off position also if I manage to get it into position it often doesnt turn. Others have also tried unsuccessfully The profuct was properly sealed when purchased

This is our 2nd Microwave, No 2. It is the same model as our first one, No 1, our guests broke it somehow, it was only over a year old It was because we enjoyed the use of No 1 therefore we chose to replace it with the same model. However, No 2 is not as good as No 11.The turntable glass plate wobbles it doesnt matter how many times I adjust it, which makes noises that sound like the turntable is not correctly balanced. It is a very annoying sound.2.No 1 displayed cooling when it produced more steam due to a more extended cooking period. However, No 2 did not, leaving moisture in it like water drips inside. We have not yet had a chance to explore all the features. Nevertheless, a disappointing experience to use the No 2. I am not sure if I should or want to recommend ... MoreThis is our 2nd Microwave, No 2. I purchased a NeoChef, 42L Smart Inverter Microwave Oven MS4266OBS when my prior microwave that had served me for almost 30 years died that morning. As I use many LG items within my home, from my television to my washing machine, and Choice recommended these microwaves, I thought it would be a good idea to use one of these units, however there is an inconsistency with heating in this new unit and I find this most disappointing. This inconsistency became evident when I cook our breakfast porridge and heat cups of tea when compared to heating cups of tea in the evening, and is demonstrated empirically when I undertook some empirical testing. It results in bowls of porridge being cooked to different amounts and in cups of tea being heated by differing temperatures, ... MoreI purchased a NeoChef, 42L Smart Inverter Microwave Oven MS4266OBS when my prior microwave that had served me for almost 30 years died that morning. It does not seem to matter if the unit is allowed to fully complete its' 'cooling' cycle or if it is used whilst still in this cycle. Now after a few years it has stopped heating altogether.

This microwave does more than I knew a microwave could. For starters... LOOK at HER, she looks stunning on the bench in our kitchen. From making your own yoghurt to acting as a pie warmer, this microwave literally has it all.I've never had such evenly cooked food from a microwave in my life. When it's done heating or cooking or whatever you're using it for, it has this gorgeous little song to let you know its ready.Other than her good looks, the thing I've noticed most is that the food isn't soggy! No sloppy, gluggy, wet microwave food! The food holds its original texture, crunch, whatever it may be. Would buy again, and you should too!
This microwave does all it says and with simplicity. Easy to use, excellent outcome for all your requirements. Have selected 4 stars as I haven't used all the features yet, but so far I have no complaints, and very happy with everything about this machine. Although the constant reminder that your microwave has finished what you asked and waiting for you to get it out can be a little annoying when you are unable to do so, but it is good for the times you do honestly forget. I love this microwave, easy to clean, beautiful lines, looks great, functions even better.
Our family of 6 adults, have been using this microwave for the last 2 weeks. Functionality is good. Heating is good, not great.. but satisfactory. Size is great. Simplicity is great! My 85yr old Nan uses it without issue. Just one main problem I've found. Pushing the touch sensor buttons is tricky at times. Doesn't always register first time you push. Would be great if the sensitivity could be adjusted, so every touch registers. Though, this would be an issue with all modern microwaves I assume. Overall, happy and would buy again!
This is a nice microwave. Looks great, simple to use, very very quite when in use and heats evenly and well however, it lacks some simple features and I cannot comprehend why. There is no button to change the time for the clock. Yup that's right! There is no clock set button. To change the time, you need to pull the microwave out from its slot (if your kitchen has one) and turn it off at the GPO. Next, setting the desired heat time with the only method possible, the dial, only has 10 second increments. There is no 1 or 5 second setting. Being that this is a 1200w microwave, 10 seconds is fine for a recommended 15 second item but it's just not bang on. It gets even harder to work out when you need to heat an item for 45 seconds for example. All LG needed to do was to ... MoreThis is a nice microwave. Press once for 10 second increments, press again for 5 and again for 1 and if you hold that button, set the clock. Such a massive oversight for a microwave at this price
Overall this microwave performs well. At times it seems it takes 30sec linger to heat items compared to my old sharp invertor microwave, but if properly tested this may be proven to be wrong. Excellent large 42l capacity, fits everything you can microwave, nilly issues with the internal capacity.External size is no issue, takes up same space as old microwave.Buttons and functions are simplistic in presentation, has a dial for time, quick start 30sec heat button, cancel button and defrost options. Further settings are located inside the door pannel. There is no physical push button to open the door, it has a handle groove in the door side and you simply pull open and push shut, smooth operation, although it could be a little bit quieter in the 'click' sound when ... MoreOverall this microwave performs well. This microwave has a little 4 sec chime to let you know it has finished its function, there is no traditional 'bing' sound. At first it was weird but a day later it's quite pleasant and it's not an overbearing loud song. The black is a nice change from silver or white and it blends in seamlessly with the kitchen surrounds. Price is comparative to other microwaves in same capacity, if you get it on special even better. Overall, can't really point out any negative issues with it. At the end of the day I only use it to reheat quick items, mainly milk, noodles, water, small condiments etc. I don't use a microwave to cook entire meals....maybe I'll give it a try one day.
have had 3 LG Microwaves before this....all good, BUT this one has a very annoying trait regarding the Clock. Ours is in an above bench "Hutch" like a lot of modern kitchens to save bench space for such a large oven. The power outlet is hidden behind the oven inside the hutch. Now, here is the problem!.....if there is a power outage the oven asks you to reset the clock...simples, BUT if you dont attend to it in an hour or so, it turns the display off, so you have to turn power off again, as there is NO OPTION to change the clock via the touchpad glass front (as all my previous LG models could). That's fine if the thing is on a bench with easy access to the power outlet, but in our case you have to drag the thing out (and having a glass front, it's HEAVY and high up, ... Morehave had 3 LG Microwaves before this....all good, BUT this one has a very annoying trait regarding the Clock. The change to daylight saving was the reason for needing a clock reset. We have contacted LG to resolve this issue in future models.
Turntable not smooth at all. Makes a sound and is jerky The plastic wheel underneath possibly not a good design or quality.Time increments and decrements cannot be customised as there is not numeric selection on the panel. Preset to only 10 secs of increment/decrement. E.g. for 25secs, you've gotto set to 30secs , watch it and stop at 25.The same applies for selection of weight of food you keep inside.Too dimlight on the inside for my liking. These are the main points that does not serve the purpose of set time and forget. you've got to watch. If i get a choice, would love to exchange it for another model .
