I've never been much of a fan of microwaves, and we seldom use it (but it's great for leftovers, or melting butter for various condiments and baking adventures). IF I were ever going to be a fan of microwaves, this one is it. It is beautiful! It does what a microwave should (whatevs, amirite), but it looks amazing while doing it. And it is so easy to clean! AND, best of all, when it finishes it plays a little song that makes you feel like you've just levelled up in Mario or something. Win!

We can't be happier with the new MS4296OMBB we chose the matte black for our taste, but the machine MS4296O regardless of finish is great! Partner loves the steamer, and reheat with fast swipe on fast timer adjust up to 1.5mins. Lots of tea and 2nd night left overs with first time cooked veggies on steamer.I love the evenness of the reheat and cooking. Lots of breakfast porridges, reheat of pizza and frozen soups.The finish is perfect it may not be stated as dark stainless but as far as I'm concerned if you're looking for a classy darker metal look this is the go.

I have been using this Microwave for 5 weeks now and it has performed very well. I generally use it to heat up Milk, frozen meals, and food from the fridge.It has worked really well heating the milk and food very well and evenly. I like how we can set the heating power to the full 1200 wats, or reduce it by 10% intervals. This helps me ensure I don't overheat milk or food so it is not too hot.It heaps up food very quickly and evenly and it turns out great!The Microwave looks hard to use but once you get it and get used to it in 1 week, it's so easy to use. It's a great replacement to my old microwave that broke down after 10 years.

I love the sleek and simple exterior with slide timer so no ugly dials. There are sensor cook and steam options with lots of menu guides to help use those functions. There are guides for melting, softening and reheating too with quick reference inside the door so you don't have to refer to the booklet. Two things I don't love - the turntable is on an angular 'ring' supposedly to stop food tipping but it makes the moving glass tray sound a bit clunky during cooking. I've personally never known food to tip on a circular ring so not sure about that one. The second is the horrible chime 'music' (noise) on completion. Seriously, what were you thinking LG It's the kind of annoying tones you'd find in a kid's toy that you quickly remove the batteries from! I stop the cook a couple of seconds early to avoid hearing it.
Really good microwave with good functions. Scored extremely highly in Choices product testing. I like the steamer bowl it comes with and clear instructions. However you cannot set the timer for specific seconds, rather it goes up in a minimum of 10 second intervals. This probably doesnt bother most people but is inconvenient for warming baby bottles. We need to heat to 37 seconds but can only set it to 40. You wouldnt think 3 seconds would make much difference but it does. Again, this is only relevant to the few people who need really exact heating settings.
I purchased this microwave back in October. Have had no worries with it. Really stylish looking microwave that compliments my oven and dishwasher perfectly. Is quick at heating up my food and has been efficient in defrosting meat. Looking forward to using some of its other features. It IS quite big however it's to be expected with its large capacity.
Bought this unit in September 2021. The investor has gone and it’s stopped heating. Tried factory reset but still no go so - because it’s still under warranty- I have to package it up and get it picked up and delivered nearly 2 hours away from where I live. That’s of course, if the service department pick up the phone to arrange. I looked at their reviews online as well - not very good at all. I’m heading out to buy a different brand tomorrow. I will attempt to get this one fixed and donate it to charity.
This unit looks great but its functionality wasn't an improvement on my 10 year old Samsung. The dimensions shown were incorrect. The photos also show a popcorn button... it doesn't actually have one. It cooks slower than my old less powerful machine, and also has wildly inconsistent results; for example, sometimes eggs come out with solid yolks, sometimes extremely runny. It was a toss up between this or the Panasonic when I was ordering... I wish I had gone for the other unit instead as I selected this based on its smaller external size (wrong) and popcorn function (non-existent).
I purchased this microwave in January 2021 after a month the glass plate had broken into 2 pieces, the plate is quite thin compared to other microwaves I have had, it was replaced, then believe it or not it happened again this year! Again the glass was replaced, whilst putting in the new plate I noticed that the surface underneath where the plate rests has cracked and chipped off leaving rust, to my surprise Im informed that LG DO NOT cover that damage, saying its not a manufacturing fault! How is it not? I have never experienced the internal surface of a microwave cracking like that, this microwave was not even 18 months old and not used on a regular basis. I believe the material used is of poor quality, not to mention the glass plates breaking not once but twice.
like the fastcook option onfront of the door preset 30 sec allows yu to add or deduct time in multiples of ten seconds you can defrost bread or reheat coffee without overdoing it. Powerful take at least 10 to 20% off the time recommended on the packaging of frozen products or better still use the time recommended and drop power down to heat more evenly. front door glass stays clean controls are hidden. the way the door pulls open towards you does require stoppers fixed to the shelf infront of the front feet otherwise you may pull the oven off the slipperry white shelf. like most modern devices it chimes too much reminds you four times by chiming its finished bit painful.
