With the easy clean coating which makes cleaning so much easier, I am absolutely blown away. .. this is everyone’s ultimate kitchen appliance!

I purchased this microwave back in October. Have had no worries with it. Really stylish looking microwave that compliments my oven and dishwasher perfectly. Is quick at heating up my food and has been efficient in defrosting meat. Looking forward to using some of its other features. It IS quite big however it's to be expected with its large capacity.

Just a great microwave to be honest. Especially for the price. It is simple to use, the sounds are lovely when microwaving something completes, nice change from the harsh alarm type of sound that microwaves usually have, and it is really easy to clean. Not only that, it looks good and feels solid. My experience of microwaves in the past are they seem flimsy and plastic. This one has a solidity to it that is lovely. Highly recommend this microwave.

Still smells a little strange/new, becomes very hot & steamy which then means I have to wipe out the microwave straight away or the steam will drip everywhere and the fan continues after the cooking has stopped, to cool down the microwave. Have only used it to simply reheat foods but works well. My son loves the musical tune it plays when it's finished cooking and to remind you there is still something in the oven. Very stylish looking.
Manual temperature and timing controls far from intuitive and not like any microwave I've used over the last 40 or so years. Very frustrating. Even a simple procedure like re-setting the clock involves turning off the power, unplugging the power lead, reconnecting to power point, turning on the power and then you can reset the clock! Unbelievable. But highly rated by Choice.
Bought this unit in September 2021. The investor has gone and it’s stopped heating. Tried factory reset but still no go so - because it’s still under warranty- I have to package it up and get it picked up and delivered nearly 2 hours away from where I live. That’s of course, if the service department pick up the phone to arrange. I looked at their reviews online as well - not very good at all. I’m heading out to buy a different brand tomorrow. I will attempt to get this one fixed and donate it to charity.
We love the microwave but given we thought this unit was the best on the market following CHOICE reviews, totally disappointed by the quality of components. Given its just to serve a household of 2, it has not kept up to expectations. Having the nice LED light work and the turntable go round doesn't do the trick when it should be heating... Our previous Panasonic lasted nearly 20 years with family use.....
Ive only had the microwave for about a month. The so called 'annoying jingle 'that someone mentioned in a negative review is no problem at all, much better than a loud beeping sound. i agree with another negative comment that the information on the inside is too small, and could very easily be made larger by making the sticker longer. On the plus side, YOU CAN SEE INSIDE whilst its operational which is why i chose it, as very few newer black models has this feature. i find it fairly intuitive to use and havent used the manual yet. Mind you Ive only used a couple of functions like reheat and soften.
I purchased this microwave in January 2021 after a month the glass plate had broken into 2 pieces, the plate is quite thin compared to other microwaves I have had, it was replaced, then believe it or not it happened again this year! Again the glass was replaced, whilst putting in the new plate I noticed that the surface underneath where the plate rests has cracked and chipped off leaving rust, to my surprise Im informed that LG DO NOT cover that damage, saying its not a manufacturing fault! How is it not? I have never experienced the internal surface of a microwave cracking like that, this microwave was not even 18 months old and not used on a regular basis. I believe the material used is of poor quality, not to mention the glass plates breaking not once but twice.
Bought our LG Neochef 42L with 2 year’s warranty less than a year ago. It had a bubble in the back on the inside which popped and there was rust inside. Contacted Harvey Norman they organised for an LG tech. We got a call from them advising we have to PAY for them as they tried to “fix ” it and have come to conclusion it is not fixable and will not be covered by the warranty. In other word no microwave but also be out of pocket for their fake fix up. Have not heard back from Harvey Norman and now been out of Microwave for approx 1 month. Worst experience will never trust LG product or their warranty. Never recommending them or their products. Bloody thieves. Please don’t buy.
