I recently bought the LG A 9 Cord Zero stick vac and Im thrilled to pieces with it. This vac has changed my life! So easy to just grab the stick vac and do a quick daily vac of the high traffic areas next to the bed, the rug in front of the WoodFire , the floor where the wood gets brought in for the fire, the bits that our fluffy dog drags in on his coat. I live in a rural area and we have a lot of debris brought in daily. This vac has saved me dragging out my ducted system and its 25mt hose. At full extension it's perhaps a little short for my 187cm tall husband to comfortably use for an extended period. Not too loud, but that can be subjective. As with a lot of bagless vacuums sometimes the dust gets wedged in when trying to empty, and occasionally have to help it on its way out, but I personally don't find this a deal breaker. Once a week I use an air compressor to blow out the fine dust in the barrel and I find it helps to keep it running smoothly and at full power. Basically, it's a fantastic vacuum. I still use the Miele Cat and Dog for a thorough deeper clean as it has far more power and obviously not limited by batteries, but I now only use it every few weeks as this one stays on top of the dust and fur just fine. I've only had it for a couple of months so I can't comment on its long term durability. I highly recommend it!

Easy to empty dirt bin. Goes from carpet to tiles no problem. One thing that would make it even better is lights along the front of the carpet head, so you don’t miss any dirt. Also if it had a utensil for poking into the dust to get it out of the bin that would be super handy. Because sometimes I have to use my fingers and that’s eww yuk! I bought the cordless zero 5 months ago and a few times the battery falls out of the vacuum while I’m using it, the spare battery doesn’t charge on the floor stand and each battery only lasts for 14 minutes (I timed it). The good guys said they will send it away to be repaired. To be spending $149 on gold coverage you would think they would swap it over for a new one. Now I’ll be out of a vacuum for 2 weeks or more. Paid over $900 with coverage too and it stuffs up within 6 months and i only use it twice a week. Also when I’m trying to clean stuck dust out of the filter I have to use a knife or something fairly long enough to reach the top of the filter….very frustrating. Pretty disappointed!!
This is the first time we've bought a stick vacuum. As a rapidly aging couple we were finding power cords and flexible hoses were becoming increasingly difficult to manage. This stick vacuum is brilliant. No cords, no hoses, plenty of attachments supplied as well as a second battery. Easy to use, not too heavy, easy to empty and cleans like a dream. Uses approx. 1/2 of one battery using standard suction (not turbo) to clean our 98 sq. metre apartment. Very happy with our purchase.

Works well on all surfaces, carpet, lino in my home. Only issue is the velvety strip on the small brush/hard attachment came off the first time I used it. I only use this attachment to clean my car, the Dyson had lasted the 7 years I had it but first time I used this attachment on the LG the strip came off. Worse I lost it, could not find it as I thought I'd just glue it back on but it's gone. It is also a bit hard to empty, I use a pipe cleaner to sure I get everything out of the barrel after each use. Live in 2 bedroom townhouse. Polished hardwood floors with a couple of rugs. Both heads are easy and quick to change out. Both do excellent job on the floors. The two batteries are a great knowing one is always charged if needed during a clean. Thus far haven't had the battery run out doing our cleaning. Small place, but good to know it's there once we get into our home. Currently renting. The dumping of the dirt is simple and not messy at all. Would have given it 5 stars if the power head contained both carpet and hardwood floor brushes, so no need to change, but hey it only takes a few seconds.
Impressive cleaning performance comparing to my previous high end corded barrel made by a reputable German brand. Easy to use though perhaps a little top heavy for some but this is only noticeable when lifting off the floor. Whilst on the floor it's easily manoeuvred to where you need it to go. The two included floor tools perform very well. Battery life is as specified. My only quibble would be the way the batteries charge in the stand (sequentially rather than simultaneously). Cost of additional tools is slightly on the high side but not exorbitant. Overall very happy.

We easily do our house on a fraction of 1 battery so extra turbo power now and then still leaves us with plenty in reserve if other areas or the car need a clean as well. It is very easy to use and to empty. The extending pipe adjustments makes it ergonomically easy for the two very different heights of the users! The power heads do a great job on carpet and hard surfaces. The crevice tool works well but is a little loose fitting. The other tools and the charging station are good too but it would be nice to have a charging station that holds all the tools, not just two. I decided to upgrade from my Dyson stick. I'm glad I did. The cord zero has great battery life (you get 2x batteries, I haven't needed to swap to the second). It's a pleasure to use. The head for the hard floors is fabulous. I have long hair and it used to tangle around the brush head of the dyson all the time. I don't have that issue anymore. I have no carpet so haven't tried the carpet head out yet but I'm sure it will be equally as good. I like not having to hold the button down as you do on the Dyson. It's slightly heavier than the Dyson but not hugely noticeable. I'm a clean freak and vacuum daily and the cord zero doesn't miss a beat.
