This is our third LG product we have purchased to replace existing goods in the last 4 years. Looking at all suitable Microwaves available to us this model certainly fills the requirement. The range of options available on the unit to provide amazing cooking results is second to none that we have owed over the years. I am sure the quality and reliability of the microwave will be exceptional as is the case with our other LG products we own.

I purchased this product thinking it would be good, based on my previous LG purchase of a Lightwave oven some years ago. When we unboxed it and set it up for use in convection mode it made a loud cracking sound as it heated up, presumably expansion. I called LG sent in a video and they advised me to take it to an authorised repaiur centre which I naturally did. The service technicians at the authorised repair centre said they tightened up some parts and it appeared to have solved the issue. I asked if they had let it completely cool down prior to testing it to which they replied "yes of course!" So I take it home and leave it overnight then fire it up in the morning and low and behold the loud crack sound is still there! I was quite impressed with the features of the model along with its ergonomic & elegant design in 2017 when I bought it. However after a year of usage, it started making significant noise while cooling down but the unit was still working. I reported back to the store this time and the store got the unit assessed by the service centre. This time the fan, magnetron and one more part was faulty and required to be replaced. This was a high end model which I bought at very premium price and it failed to provide reliable basic microwave service(let alone the oven functions and remaining fancy features) for less than two years!. Moreover a brand new replacement machine stops working within 6 months!.I wonder if LG really performs quality checks before shipping such high end models to retail stores!. I'm thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with this model and would never suggest anyone to rely on this. In fact I was advised from the store NOT to opt for such feature rich model as more often than not they over-promise and under-deliver!. This model is indeed very feature-rich and promising but conspicuously POOR in quality and reliability.

A good featured larger microwave......but only while it works. First we lost sensor cooking, then the microwave function stopped completely. There are many similar fault stories online. Please go back to a side opening door design for those of us who have these on a high shelf in a modular kitchen - my wife could no longer get things in or out without a step ladder with a downwards opening door. Not an easy oven to get the hang of the controls and functions - the wife not a fan at all. I was told it wasn't economical to repair out of warranty with a $165 call out fee plus parts. Back to the trusted Panasonic brand for us.
As per title, this unit is an excellent value for money, but there are few things not quite right.. 1) Since day one, it makes a single loud noise every time you turn it on (settings are not relevant). It does it every single time.. 2) Not very powerful in particularly compared to other 1100 Watts units. Now the good things.. Is built well for the asking price, and it does come with a complete cocking range. Once you get to understand the control panel, it actually allows you to have full control over both cocking times and cocking quantities. Is very easy to keep clean and the finish both inside and outside are impeccable. Been using it an average of three times a week for the past 5 months and so far, it has been great. No problems what so ever.. I just wish LG had the decency to make two different models so not to force all the customer to use the Pull Down door (Hint.. Hint..) At the time of the purchase and possibly still now, it was the best value for money convection oven out there..

I disposed of my Microwave, Airfryer, and grill/toaster oven to St Vinnies. My LG 39l Microwave/ convection/airfyer arrived within 10days. I came home from my long weekend away and eagerly opened and removed packaging and installed into my oversized Cavity, then to my dismay I saw the ventilation sticker on the front on the Microwave. I had inadequate space each side of the microwave after reading the dimensions needed to accommodate the ventilationneeded for operation. They would not let me speak to a manager even though I asked numerous times and they would not find me any alternate solution - all they needed to do is provide me with a basic temporary microwave from the repair center and I would have been ok. A premium product should not come with this kind of service and I will no longer buy LG products (as I sit here looking at my LG monitor, TV and fridge - also have an LG washing machine). I am so extremely angry and disappointed in a company I have supported for so long. So now I am off to buy another microwave and will be seeking a refund on this expensive paperweight. Customer service is everything. A product can be brilliant but if it breaks after 5 months and you get no support after years of loyalty, then what is the point? Don’t do it – get another brand microwave.
This is the second LG Microwave that I've owned. So far it is great. It's quiet on both microwave and convection settings. The bright light is awesome. Power settings are true to temperature. Easy to use. I really like the door opening downwards and the multi wheel under the turntable offers great stability. Great for families of all sizes.
I bought this less than 6 months ago. WOW, I'm so impressed with the versatility. As this is the first Convection oven I have owned I have no comparison. But from cooking pizzas, frozen meat pies, baked potatoes, and cakes to name a few, my only issue is that there should be a more extensive recipe book/s available there are a lot of trials and errors. I have an ongoing list happening with times high, low rack, or no rack.
I have had my oven repaired once while under warranty. It is now out of warranty and half the time it reads that the door is still open when you start it after a few seconds. Then you have to restart the whole procedure to get it going again. The openingaround the door is clean and free from obstructions. Sometimes the carousel doesn't rotate either. Pretty disappointed in this product.
